Can't believe how many clowns on here are picking Martin to beat Joshua

Martin is as BASIC as they come, can barely throw a proper punch, stands super upright with his chin hanging in the air, zero head movement, zero defence, zero slickness, Joshua will have a field day with this guy. From the opening bell he won't be able to miss with the right hand.

Those that understand anything about the sport know the reality, this is a total mismatch. Martin is a step down from Dillian Whyte. This is pretty much a stay busy fight for Joshua with the added bonus of a world title.

If you seriously can't already tell how huge the gulf is between AJ and Martin in skill and technique, Saturday will be very educational. Prince Charles is getting a royal ass whooping. Joshua KO3.

It's not like any of these 2 guys is proven yet. Martin has the biggest scalp, but his opponent got injured so that doesn't say much.

Joshua was on q__erstreet in his fight against the whyte guy. So I can understand people going for him.

Two prospects that happen to fight for a belt. Hard to predict if you ask me

Watch Joshua fight, he is very flawed. Poor footwork, no jab and poor defence. Very much a work in progress but lots of potential. Won't take a world beater to give him hell at this stage.

This is exactly the kind of troll im talking about. Queer st?

Glazkov is barely B level, Whyte would destroy him. I know you people hate Joshua but don't let emotion cloud your judgemennt.

Based on Glazkov being terrible. This is the guy who needed a gift to beat Malik Scott. Whyte destroys him.

We just don't know Joshua's ceiling. Wythe exploited some holes in his game and Martin is a smart fighter with a great toolbox.

    50/50.

How does Whyte destroy anybody with his level of fitness? Let's be real here, he gassed so hard that he'd lose to a lot of fighters right now. I believe he has potential but he's not ready yet, far from it.

I do favor AJ over Martin but I think it'll be a competitive fight. I don't really like what I'm hearing from the Martin camp though which has swung me back to AJ solidly. I think AJ has a higher ceiling, even if he loses.

We get it. You love British fighters. All British fighters are superhuman. Is there any British fighter you don't like? And not Audley Harrison, ask yourself if there is anyone well regarded by some that you don't think is quite as good as his strongest fans suggest. If you find yourself realizing that you are ALWAYS among the fans rating every good British fighter higher than normal, then it might be a tip off you're a bit biased.

In reality, Joshua deserves to be a favorite based on amateur career and the way he's torn through his underrated opposition. Underrated in that he was brought along quicker than average, much quicker than Wilder, Jennings, Ortiz. And while he doesn't have any wins against contenders yet (unless Whyte proves himself later on), he's beaten some solid journeymen. Kevin Johnson was a real underrated performance as he was still arguably a top 35-40 HW, who had never been stopped before despite some great comp, and AJ blasted him in 2. Martin didn't face remotely the level of comp before he faced Glazkov, and while I think Martin was winning that match, its not really a satisfying win to draw too many conclusions. Thus, Joshua should be solid favorite. But Martin's size, power, and performance against Glaszkov (such as it was) is still plenty to give people reasonable doubt when matched against someone in AJ who has never beaten a contender nearly as highly regarded as Czar.

Since the dawn of time people have arbitrarily picked underdogs in the hope a brief, but desperately needed boost to their self esteem. Heavyweight is the place to do it.
Some of them haven't seen more than 3 rounds of Martin, guaranteed.
