    His job is to help prepare his fighters for their upcoming fights, not to manage their careers or promote their fights, and he has absolutely zero authority to choose who they fight.

    I've said this before, The secret behind Ward's success is Ward......Virgil's is overrated and buys into his own hype a little too much.

    When Khan does lose again, he will dump Hunter as he does all his trainers. He's like a Chad Dawson, always blaming the trainer for his failures.

    There can never be enough threads on what an obnoxious insufferable ******* this guy is.

    The way people asses trainers generally is ridiculous. Remember when Brother Nazim became a messiah after SSM beat Margarito? Everyone was saying it was all due to Nazim, who turns water into wine. IMAGINE, an ATG beat a good fighter!!!

    Unless I'm missing something, Ward is the only guy Virgil was associated with when he became supposedly a top trainer, right? So he had ONE guy. Who's to say Ward wouldn't have been a great fighter under ANYONE's training, and who's to say that he wouldn't have been BETTER if someone else was training it other than Virgil. It doesn't follow, you see, that because Ward is great the guy who trained him is great. It might be that Ward just has great potential and would have developed into a great fighter either way and the guy who is training him is actually holding him back by putting out poor training.

    Ward is an awesome fighter, but I've never heard of him bringing up any other fighters that made it big.
