I heard that since Rios can no longer make 135, it would be a catchweight of 137 or 138.

Rios gets outboxed for the first 6, then grinds Yuriorkis down and stops him late, just like he did with Acosta.

Won;t happen at 135. Rios will be drained if they fight there.

Rios shatters his Glass Jaw. Cuba is second only to the UK in terms of Glass Jaws per capita.

Interesting fight. Gamboa has looked vulnerable at the lighter weights (possibly due to weight drain) and Rios attacks and hits hard but Rios currently appears drained and is the inferior boxer. I fancy Gamboa simply because he has proven himself against a higher level in terms of class but there is a lot of unpredictable factors. Prefer YG-JML though.

Rios cannot make 135 anymore. Gamboa by TKO over weight drained Rios who had troubles with Murray!!! Murray!!!! the guy mitchell beat the **** out of, c'mon son!!! a year ago when Rios was making 135 more comfortably he would have KO'd Murray in 2 rounds......this Gamboa fight would have been more competitive a year ago. thing is they're quite a bit different in size....Rios shouldn't be fighting under 140 but there's no way in hell Gamboa should have to climb more than 2 divisions to take on such a beast so we're left with a weight drained Rios as the fairest way possible to make this fight. This fight will not live up to the hype, Gamboa will be too much for him. It's close to 50/50 with both comfortable at the weight but we know that's not the case, Rios will look like a sick ghost with chapped lips.

I dont like Rios style but he will have a definite size advantage over Gamboa and on top of that he has shown a solid chin. Gamboa will do wat he always does. Try and blast the other guy out quick. When ever he fails to do so he gets lost in the ring and that will be his undoing in this fight.
