Can't believe the entire top of the HW division got destroyed in a few months

And we were told how Fury was going to bring 'excitement' though his fight with Wlad was one of the most boring title fights that I have seen that didn't involve John Ruiz. Haye was also going to bring 'excitement'. Makes one wonder......

Agree except Haye is a nobody. Feel sorry for fatboy who noone will fight as he is probably the best Heavyweight going around.

Ortiz-Scott could be decent if it goes down. See interesting fights in King Kong's future now that he's with Hearn. About time, and hopefully not too late.

So far Joseph Parker is heavyweight of the year and moved from outside the Top 25 to Top 10. An emphatic win over Ruiz (or a better opponent) could get him into the Top 5.

This HW division is now in shambles. A couple years ago when people said the "division sucks" that's when it actually was really good. It's now that it sucks.

    BS!

The HW division sucked the whole time Vlad reigned. The division had not even one elite fighter. Not one!
The HW division was almost as bad as the MW division is today.
Today, there are no HW elites but plenty of prospects who may rise to the challenge.

Karma. Pedvetkin started the ball rolling and everybody fell off the cliff. I'm not going to sweat it though, some of these matchups will take place in 2017. It was amazing how big Wilder/Pedvetkin was to the division, that going down was devastating.

The John Ruiz/Holyfield Trilogy are exciting fights compared to Tyson/Klitschko. Fres Oquendo/Chris Byrd would compare though.

Without Wladimir the division lack glamor. It is very unfortunate he got injured but he is getting older and injury prone.

Fury was the biggest disappointment. He is smart and calculated so I guess he planned the whole thing.

Joshua had good fights. He kept trying to face the best possible opponents. He should probably drop his November fight and focus on the next year.

Wilder didn't surprise me. Not at all. He is very good at avoiding mandatories. Only bums show up on his radar.

Povetkin was screwed up. I believe that the court will decide in his favor and WBC get another lesson.

If Parker beats Ruiz Jr, he will have arguably made the most career progression this year at heavy.

Based on the projected fights from earlier in the year (that didn't pan out) who woulda thought this would be the case?

I expected one fight to fall through and thought that it would be due to injury but I didnt think it would be this many. And the reasons for some of these called off fights are suprisingly unprofessional. Fury/Klitsc part 2 just faded and faded comically. Klitsch trains all year and then gets injured, Fury drives right past the gym all year and probably steps on his belts every morning that he leaves lying around.
