    AGAIN.

Ffs, he's not fighting no Berto. :rofl and FFS he's not fighting for free on CBS. I don't care what you guys say about him getting bargaining chips on CBS or whatever. Are you kidding me? :patsch:rofl

He did this 2 years ago with Alexander/Guerrero

Floyd Mayweather twitter 2 years ago

However, on Tuesday night, Mayweather tweeted, "The negotiations for my fight are almost done. The front runner is IBF Champion Devon Alexander. It'd be a unification bout at welterweight." :rofl

If Floyd doesn't fight Mayfield then it's a CLEAR DUCK.

He did this back in 2012 as well. Teased Alvarez then everybody yelled from rooftops for him to fight Cotto. He fought Cotto.

He certainly did what was best for his legacy in waiting the year+ for the Canelo clash for Canelo to prove himself and for beating Cotto who would go on to revive his career after. But at the time, I'll be honest, I was one of very few back in 2012 who wanted the Canelo fight over Cotto (although this was before the Mosley-Josesito-Trout victories which really elevated Alvarez's ranking in the division and place in the sport).

Did the same to lesser extents with Alexander in '13 and Khan in '14 only to fight better and higher ranked opponents instead.

I've been thinking this for weeks. But, the only doubt is Khan has been talking smack for the past 24 hours so wouldn't he be somewhat in the loop? And I don't mean he's talking smack as in hyping the fight but actually sounding like a dumbass even more than usual.

I think the Berto rumor is baseless as well. I noticed Khan mentioned it on his twitter line.

Floyd wouldn't allow anyone to announce his upcoming fights before he does. He's been doing this now for a couple years, and for his potential last match ever, I seriously doubt he'd change his routine of how he announces his fights.

    He's a middleweight, Floyd is a WW.

It's going to be Khan or maybe Brook.

That's the obvious tactic which I 80% believe but fighting Berto would generate more interest than any other fight, people would watch it for the car crash/disgust aspect and talk about it a lot more.

This is Haymon at work. His series is not receiving the ratings they envisioned and this would make a perfect event to advertise the hell out of this PBC shananigans. He is not shying away of spending millions and if CBS and Show each throw in some dough, this would make a h ell of an event for a Saturday night prime time show for CBS.
Yes,I for one,buy into this hustle job.
After this,Haymon and TMT can really cash in next year for his REAL retirement fight on PPV ,where they will reap in boatloads of dough.
