It's laughable, I think what's being underestimated is that Floyd has told you directly through the media that 1) He isn't going to fight anyone without USADA drug testing, he repeated that multiple times 2) That he is probably not going to fight the rest of this year 3) That there weren't negotiations because he's been on vacation. It's not his fault that people bought into Arum's hype. I have no doubt there was dialouge between camps on some level, but if Floyd has told you the things above, it's not his bad that you chose to ignore them. I understand the backlash, but do you not think it's a little strange that Arum is apologizing for Floyd, and telling people to cut him slack, etc? Why would he do this? Probably because he doesn't want a the media and fans to force Floyd into speaking and exposing this entire deal as a Top Rank ploy to promote Pac-Marg or Pac-Cotto. He doesn't want Floyd coming out on the Brian Kinney show and saying I never talked to Bob Arum, I never gave the impression we were in negotiations, I laid out how I felt about it from the beginning (drug testing, purse split), I will fight this cat when I feel like it on my terms, and beginning spreading truth and make Arum/Team Pac look stupid as stupid as they did during the last negotiations with all the half truths and blatant lies that were being spread by Arum and Top Rank.

Lastly, there is no doubt Roger's situation is an issue and something the Mayweather camp is focused on and concerned about, once this issue is resolved I would expect to hear more from them, until there is some resolution to this situation it would be stupid for them to do anything. Floyd isn't fighting without Roger, period, regardless whether you think "he can", regardless how little credit you give Roger. They view this as a family business, they involved their children and the entire family in the process, obviously Roger is a huge part of that and they aren't going to proceed without him. It was a big enough deal that he pushed his own father out for trying to get between he and Roger, to me that's pretty significant...you have to feel pretty strong about someone to do that.

“It does not matter what stance Pacquiao fights, my son will never fight him” - Floyd Sr.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard and the most lame excuse ever. I'm on vacation? really, that's his excuse? The guy hasn't even left his home town. It's not like he's in tibet he's still in ****ing vegas.

Floyd boys are too much. When Shane Mosley used this same exact excuse to not fight Floyd a few years back you were livid. Man did you guys bring that up over and over again to show that Shane avoided floyd. Now that your boy is using the same lame as excuse you are applauding it? You don't have to inturupt your vacation (in your own house) to negotiate a deal.

Then come out and say that. If he thinks that he can't train cuz of roger is on trial then come out and say, i can't fight right now cuz of roger. Why so quiet especially after espn calling him a coward on national television.
