Cant compare pbf to clottey

THis is just my opinion but there is no way that you can make a decision on who would win based off of this fight. People are saying pac beats pbf based off of the punch output that he displayed tonite. (This one will be easy) If you know your opponent wasnt gonna punch back and he even said that he was gonna sit there and let you punch yourself out, WHat on earth would you do keep punching right...do you really think pbf is just gonna sit there and let him do that? Just doesnt even have footwork like pbf, not even clothes.

people are saying pac blasted clottey. well i guess everyone has their opinion on what blasting is but to me it would have something to do with your connect rate. Pac threw about 1200. if i remember correctly, clottey threw about 400. They both landed about the same. actually pac landing about 150 more. I am only impressed by the punch output from a stamina stand point, but i also say "damn, it took 1200 punches to only land 246.

That is another reason why you cant compare pbf and clottey because if clottey cant punch that little and still land 100 odd punches, you know floyd is gonna land more and with more precision and accuracy...pac gets off balance easily especially when he misses. PBF will make him pay when he gets off balance...Not saying floyd will ko him but floyd wont just look at him either.

Some people are also saying that floyd will not hurt manny because josh is bigger and stronger than floyd and couldnt do it. You dont have to be a boxing enthusiast to know that it doesnt matter about how strong you are...its about how and when you throw the punch...if it mattered that much clottey would probably have more knockouts than pbf but he doesnt...so obviously floyd has enough power...it my not be more but it is enough...

Bottom line is this....

Take the fight for what it was because what pac did tonite doesnt mean he is going to do in the next fight...Just as clottey didnt do what he did in the last fight. YOu would have thought that this fight was gonna be competitive based off of his last performance but i guess not... Take this fight for what it was..human against punching bag...and leave it at that. MAybe if floyd had the same style you can compare the two but it is hard for me to understand how people can say pbf will lose cause of this performance. The only thing manny did spectacular was punch 1200 times...he wont punch that many times against pbf cause pbf wont be there. I think they both have a chance to beat each other.

LAst note.. it would surprise me if arum said this in whatever fashion he wanted to say it in "clottey we need t make sure pac wins in good fashion so we can keep that money roling for our cash cow. I know you need money so on top of your purse, i will do this...."

Not because pac doest deserve to win but because i dont trust arum. He ripped dallas off. Not to mention it is also hard for me to accept that clottey knows that this will be his biggest fight EVER. He sets a trend of blowing big fights. And this is the break that he has been waiting on. To alk about how you want to win to provide for your daughter and then turn around and not even attempt to fight? So what if you get knocked out? YOu will never get another opportunity this big again... make something of it!

I also dont understand that if this is supposed to be manny's most dangerous fight to date, why the hell would he schedule a concert immediately afterwards. For clottey to be so dangerous manny sure knew his mouth wasnt gonna get busted up..

At any rate... good job to pacquiao for coming to fight and doing what he is supposed to do. he showed superior conditioning and made the best out of what was given to him and it is not his fault that he was the only one that came to fight. All fighters make mistakes in the ring and while i do have my negative opinions about what manny could have did better, i wont bring them up, for this his his night. Once again good job...

the difference with mayweather and clottey is this. PBF will actually attempt to counter. PBFs defense also comes from his foot movement and he will create openings. Their defensive style is totally different. PBF is using his defense to create opens. Clottey uses his defense to prove he can take a punch. Even though you say you doubt pbf will hurt manny regardless to how accurate he is...it is the same principle of what you said about clottey blocking those shots with his arms. THey will at some point take effect. It dont matter who you are. If you get hit with enough clean crisp punches, they will hurt you.
