He won't go at his body like JCC, but he's going to be looking to go there the whole fight. A lot of Floyd's most recent stoppages came from working the body

I think you might be proved wrong on fight night mate. Floyd's punches aren't way up there in terms of power, but i see those lead rights snapping victor's head back over and over and from 7 or 8 onwards vic will be in survival mode looking completely wilted. as someone else said above, his corner will probably try and pull him out of there by then....

Maybe everyone is picking Floyd by decision because, oh, I don't know, Floyd has 1 KO in the last 5 1/2 years?

After the fight real boxing fans will say they should have known - all the inactivity, never facing a younger Welter, Ortiz's determination and conditioning and a very fast starter vs a slow starter who has not been in the ring enough. Upsets happen all the time.

Victor throws too many punches, has power and has a nice right hook. Enough to take out this version of fading Floyd. Ortiz stops him within 5.
There will be no excuses. The writing was on the wall vs Mosley and you don't avoid the tszu's, Cotto's and Pac's because you are confident.
All the makings of a simple upset.

people pick floyd for the same reason they always do,hes undefeated and he outboxs people.people see this over and over and they just think it will never end and its the safe prediction. everbody loses sooner or later and its usually by the opponent that you least expect, how many people do you think picked buster douglas over tyson or tarver over roy jones, before the fight and not after that is.

Actually, you said that. You said his body work was "non-existant".

No win situation for Floyd. He needs to dazzle here vs the B level fighter.
Lets remember Floyd has faced physically challenged fighters at 147 the last 5 years. believe it or not Berto is the best 147 fighter beaten within a year of any opponent facing Floyd. Hatton, JMM and Shane have no wins in a 12 month span prior to facing Floyd in the ring at Welter.
Hatton struggled with Collazo, JMM never laced em up above 135 and Shane was inactive for 15 months.
Floyd has a false sense of security at the weight and is older and too inactive.
    The buck stops here brother.
