When was the last time Floyd beat the crap out of anyone, let alone a big punching WW like Ortiz? Like everyone is saying, this will be a UD from Floyd. He will start off cautiously and then take over by countering Ortiz all night. He does not have the power nor the instinct to want to KO Ortiz. He will cruise to the UD if anything.

Well, for starters Ortiz has about 20lbs on Gatti come fight night, plus mayweather is older and probably wont be as agressive, I do see what you are saying though and Floyd could certainly stop Ortiz if he puts it on him.

Is caps lock really needed to make your statement? JMM lasted the distance against Floyd. Ortiz will have a bigger probability that he will also last the distance.

Ortiz might be too big for mayweather to KO him.

May dont hit the hardest. 1 ko in 6 years.

A much better boxer than ortiz.

There are many reasons why floyd will UD Ortiz.

Floyd was ony able to put on an arturo gatti performance against arturo gatti.

The guy is a walking punch pag. A warrior yes. But he got destroyed be de le hoya just as easy as floyd did.

    Gomez even destroyed Gatti.

Ortiz is a much greater boxer than gatti and much bigger, and quicker.

No one, I mean no one knocks out a tree, especially one with glass hands.

Ortiz is bigger, stronger, faster than Gatti...he also won't hesitate and end up in the no man's land that Gatti did...that being said, I don't think PBF stops Ortiz and I think Ortiz makes this a much closer fight than some are making it out to be.

Do these 3 points mean any thing to any of you as they weigh
heavy on my prediction for the out come of the bout

also keep in mind these are just the wild card reasons and have
nothing to due with $mays superior skill set

point 1. Mayweather's statement "i will go toe to toe and stop him
easy work i believe there is much more to this statement then just
hype/banter and as such i " can't take this statement lightly cause
every prediction he has made has been very close"

point 2. Also with pac fighting less then 2 months after this bout
imho i feel floyd is going to really be aiming for a extraordinary
performance for everyone to compare with manny and with both bouts
taking place in a relatively close time span i believe $ may will put
even more into his performance to separate himself skill wise from pac
    once again.

Point 3. With $ may putting out a bet with odh and odh not taking the
bet that imho will have a very negative effect on young vics already
    damaged heart.

Everybody makes a big deal about the Gatti fight, and yes Floyd was whuppin his ass, but despite Floyd landing 1000 powerpunches, and even hitting him behind the head when Gatti wasn't looking, he couldn't really HURT him.

Ortiz is much bigger and stronger and I think he has a lot more to prove.

It's possible that Ortiz may gas himself out early and basically not have the stamina to proceed into the later rounds, and while Mayweather certainly has much better skills, I can see Ortiz at least making it to the final bell...

Although, I do see where he may not...but I don't think it would be because he's necessarily physically beat up, it will be because he's mentally beat up, and just can't get up for the challenge physically anymore.
