Liakhovich looked like he was having a full on epileptic fit after that shot.

Wilders a bit raw but his power is very real, probably the scariest right hand in boxing today. With that handspeed and power he's a threat to pretty much any HW. Stiverne is getting knocked cold

    I agree.

If Wilder had Pulevs chin and was in there instead of Pulev, he'd be the new Lineal HW Champion.

Sadly for Wilder his power has thusfar kept him from needing to dig deep. Afraid he's gonna have to go thru a few Corrie Sanders/Hasim Rahman type moments in his career though, and IF, a BIG IF......he overcomes those ugly KO losses, perhaps he will be the dominant Champion that Wlad is ATM.:think

No doubt. One of those right hands would have Wlad folding like a deckchair

I remember Liakovich was crying foul about a rabbit punch and started some complaint with the sanctioning body. What an idiot. He got KTFO and couldn't believe it.

Wlad's taken SEVERAL punches from hitters far more powerful than Wilder.

    Peter, Sanders, Haye, Mercer etc.

Im giving Wilder credit where due. But he wouldnt 1 punch KO Wlad unless Wlad walked into the shot like he did vs Sanders, and even then Wilder would have to have the wherewithal to follow it up with combinations.

Wlad would get up dazed, shook and on bambi legs, and Wilder would ahve to walk thru fire to get the KO, b/c even a bambi legged Wladimir is still =/< Wilder powerwise. :nono

Landing a punch on a corpse of Liakovich is one thing, but with his terrible technique, Wilder isn't going to land on Stiverne little alone Wlad. Wilder's rise reminds me of Tye Fields, except that Wilder hasn't even fought anyone as good as Monte Barrett yet.

Wilder's transformation back from beast to bum will be complete against Stiverne, you can bet your house on it.

    :lol::lol::lol:

Your'e probably right, but if the fight were made, and GGG were to win, it would be in less than 4 for sure.

GGG<LHW in punching power, and although he's undersized even for MW, he's still got the best footwork in the game, and delivers the power early and often.

Could Wilder touch him????? Not sure. If he did he'd stop GGG. But I doubt he could hit such a small target, especially one that's throwing the most thudding shots Wilder's would have ever felt.:D

Does this mean Zelenoff has an iron chin?

PRIME Liakhovich puts a beating on this clown. Liakhovich will forever be a favorite of mine for his absolute WAR against Brewster, that was easily one of the best HW title fights of all time and should have won FOTY.... It was sad to see him getting bombed out like that against a fraud like Wilder.

If Wilder had Pulevs chin, you would still have to account for his abysmal defense, and poor boxing skills in general. It would still be a one sided blow out, with Wlad taking care of him in a round or two at most.....

It was....and I agree with your assessment of Liakovich vs Brewster. FOTY for sure.

As for Prime Liakovich vs Wilder.

IDK.....Wilder has certainly shown tremendous power in all of his fights, and while Briggs was able to take more punishment and survive until he KOd Sergei, I gotta think overall Wilders shots and mobility would be more than either Sergei or Brewster would take.

We'll have to see him go thru the fire at some point, but really, I can't say that Sergei would be a lock vs Wilder.:think

Pulev threw every bit of skill he had out the window vs Wlad.

His fight vs Wlad was perfect, it's just that Wlads chin is better than previously thought by haterz.

If Wilder had Pulevs' chin he'd be </= prime Tyson.:good

Wilder is the black David Price, although with far worse skills as evidenced by his windmill punches

He'll go bust as soon as he steps in with a live body.
