Wasn't Wilder complaining to the referee about getting hit in the back of the head by that janitor dude (can't remember his name) he fought last time out? What's he going to complain about next? His opponent being tall and lanky? lol

lol I actually genuinely felt that supply teacher had the beating of Wilder as I was watching it unfold. I'm not even joking either.

Wilder is the master of the phantom punch. Not the ''Phantom punch'' ala Ali vs Liston where very few in attendance saw the punch that felled Liston. I mean the phantom punch where someone is fighting a phantom that is only visible to them. The gentleman on the right in this video is demonstrating what I mean.

But Wilder's mastery of the phantom punch or rather phantom punching is even more spectacular.

    8:34 mark 8:38

    Bellissima!

He would make a good contender at any era. Of course Wilder has a chance against him; tall, fast, powerful. But there's a decent chance Povetkin takes Wilder's shots better than Wilder takes his. And Sasha is clearly the better boxer.

Wilder actually attacks his opponents unlike Wladimir who stays away jabbing and pot shotting with his right hand while clinching 15+ times a round and most of the time for literally no reason.

Wilder goes at his opponents with the intention of knocking them out. Povetkin is pretty damn easy to hit and the size and reach of Wilder will be too much for him. I'm not completely sold on Wilder but he will definitely knock out Povetkin before round 6. Im sure Wlad could have easily stopped Povetkin as well if he had any sort of aggression at all.
