    Very possible.

Sergio is too mobile for Bute to stay with.

Froch is too scrappy and might just TKO Bute

Ward is a dirty fighter who can also box well, don't see Bute winning.

Dirrel will back out of the fight with a fake injury, or show up and put on a production of Hamlet in the ring.

Don't you love it when they turn a blind eye. It's like I didn't even posted above.
Working on the principle you don't like it, you don't see it/notice it.

Sergio is a good fighter but remember he was a WW some years back and only went to MW due to the Pavlik offer. Sergio was put down by fighters like R Williams many years ago and looking hurt. I dont think Martinez would be able to compete with Bute at SMW

Nice work. The fight posters look more real than the rack on your avi girl.

Bute vs Martinez would be a thinking man's fight beyond compare.

Both are going to be trying to outsmart each other.

I like Bute and feel he could be the dark horse of the SMW division, but he hasnt landed a really decent name (not decent fighter, but decent name) yet, whether its his fault or not.
He has been a world champ for around 3 years and resume isnt as bad as many would like you to believe but look at how other SMW champs were able to get a name of note in that sort of time -

    Eubank - Benn, Watson, Holmes
    Benn - Eubank, McClellan
    Collins - Eubank, Benn
    Calzaghe - Eubank, Reid, Woodhall
    Kessler - Mundine, Beyer, Calzaghe
    Lacy - Reid, Calzaghe
    Froch - Taylor, Kessler
    Ward - Kessler
Jones/Toney fought each other at SMW in that sort of time frame
    Mitchell - Liles,
    Liles - Nunn

I admit some of those fighters got lucky by getting to fight a known respected world champ to get a name win.
As it stands I think Butes resume is of a similar level to Beyers win resume. I cant think of Bute having a better win than Woodhall on his resume. Though think Bute is a far superior fighter to Beyer. Thats the frustrating thing about Bute, he beats some decent comp that isnt recognised.
I think overall Butes resume is slightly better than Wards at this time

im actually looking forward to seeing andre dirrell against the top guys. if he can get back to his best and not be such a ***** he has a hell of a lot of talent. great speed and reflexes. he'll dominate all of them in spells of the fight. it just whether he can stay tough and not get knocked out.

its a great division though. i think it has to be the best atm.
