FOTY, yeah right.. Abraham will smash him to bits, so will Kessler. Froch is done after his next two bouts.
even if aa changes nothing, stays relatively inactive and headhunts i still think he ko's froch. the dirrell fight changed nothing about my opinion of this fight. froch is so flawed defensively that aa is going to catch him with something very hard and very flush. but froch is scrapper so i agree with you this could be a very entertaining fight
I want to see how AA reacts when Froch starts man handling him around the ring ? Not only did Dirrells speed and footwork confuse AA but the weight of punch kept him very honest for the majority of the fight.Froch is very raw and less than perfect in the defence department, but no one can argue that he's one determined SOB,and lets not forget Froch has only looked shakey against Taylor and Dirrell, both of whom have very fast hands,i don't see AA commanding the centre of the ring and outboxing Froch.
andre dirrell fought a terrific fight tonight. he is a stylistic nightmare for arthur abraham. like an ali would be for a tyson. like a calzaghe for a lacy. speed against come forward puncher. on a good day AA can beat dirrel. froch on the other hand is not a stylistic nightmare for AA. with AA's power he can KO a heavyweight if he catches you clean. its all about styles and how the boxers use the weaknesses of their opponents to their advantage. tonight andre dirrel fought a brilliant fight before getting hit by a sledgehammer.
I was thinking about that last night. I don't think it will be a dirty fight. But its should be a barn burner, though!
