Oh BS. His next fight vs the smaller and washed up Boza Edwards was embarrassing. He had stacks of fights before fighting these much bigger men you speak of.
Point is, Camacho was a serious ass-kicker who's headed to the IBHOF....... The guy was a true pro who earned his respect---Win or Lose...... His record is intact.......... He has been decked, but never parked....... Reyes Cruz, Eddie Rosario, J.C.Chavez, Felix Trinidad, Roberto Duran & DLH" all landed some bad-ass leather upside Camacho's head, yet he took it all........... He won some of them bouts and lost some..... So what? Show some respect as a boxer / puncher to Camacho......... OKAY! Outside the ropes, Camacho has been a Jackass in public........ I know that............ MR.BILL:bbb:hi::hatpatsch:hey
That's a BOLD statement to make, Johnny............:hat I was pissed in 1996 when my man Duran was butt-shafted by the judges against Camacho........... Camacho started fast, but faded bad, and allowed Duran to take over and finish strong........ Duran got screwed there.......... Okay, the rematch in Denver later in '01 was different........... Duran at age 50 with dyed gray hair was a shell and slower than ****......... The 39 year old Camacho won the rematch......... MR.BILL:bbb
Olivares and Canto are very clearly better than Camacho for me. I wouldn't disrespect any fighters though and to Camacho's credit it's about effectiveness. But yeah, to be blunt, they were clearly better.
Hector got that clown image outside the ropes but inside, he was surprisingly professional. Not once have I ever seen him taunt opponents nor does he showboat. With his combination of movement, speed and being a southpaw, any up and comer would be wise to avoid him. I can most definitely see why even Monzon appreciated his style
Sorry, but aside from senior circuit type fun i can't see much importance in such bouts. When it comes to raw (real) bad arse and genuinity Olivares KO1 Camacho. Olivares had an intensity, will to win and balls Heccy could only fantasise about.
Skillwise, Camacho is WAY above Olivares.............. Olivares was a TV favorite cuz of his "Kill or be Killed" style, not his technique........... And since Camacho was naturally 10 to 15 pounds heavier than Olivares was in their respective primes, its a no brainer that Camacho takes Olivares to school and drops and stops the rugged Mexican warrior....... Camacho could bore a crowd at times, but nonetheless, Camacho was still more so skilled and better............ I swear to God and sonny Jesus, back in 1983 when Camacho beat the ****in' **** outta 29 year old Rafael Limon in Puerto Rico at 130 pounds, Camacho was the fastest mother****er I had ever seen on two feet........... Limon looked like an idiot........ MR.BILL

Olivares was the only fighter I would watch and oddly enough think... He has very fast feet but slow hands. What do you guys think about this assessment?
I maintain that prime Camacho possessed the fastest hands in terms of pure speed the Boxing world has ever seen. Amazing to watch.
