So Blake gets his big chance tomorrow night on US tv stepping in to replace Erdei. Word is he has been training up a storm in Vegas and got in some sparring with Jean Pascal and he will be looking to make a statement. It's been ages since I saw muriqi in action (2007 a close loss to tarver) but I remember he was tough and ring smart. Hopefully Blake is young, fresh and skilled enough to get a solid win here on the big stage. Thought? predictions?
Jeff Horn and Jake Carr are fighting good opponents early in their respective careers Will Tomlinson has signed a 5 fight deal with Golden Boy. Dib tried to regain his title on the Pac-Rios U/C so it's not all doom and gloom. Some fighters e.g Brad Pitt seemingly have no interest in giving it a go globally but hey maybe they just know their limitations.
Yup! He done well, albeit he played 'catch me if you can' in final 2, which I hoped he would do. Why go for KO/TKO credit, when well & truly ahead on points.
IMO, in time Blake has to learn to be killer puncher....when need be. ATM, he appears to be reluctant to hurt opponents.....happy to outpoint them
Good win but awful fight to watch. I think Blake might have a tough job getting back on US TV after that. fNF loves guys that show the killer instinct.
