Margarito could have easily told Capetillo he would pay him off to say that.

This guy is clearly doing damage control. His reputation is already beyond ruined, so he decides to save what he can--the reputation of his star pupil and best creation Antonio Margarito.

All I know is that whenever I've had my hands wrapped, I would have noticed somebody putting some **** in there.

    **** you Margarito apologists.

It actually does make sense......the old gauze is gauze that is folded, moist and compressed. I could see where something like that would be used on the knuckles to hit the heavybag........

.....in any regards, I though the article was a good piece.
However, the writer should have asked Capetillo since he's now speaking, what exactly was in the knucklepad.....if it was actually plaster, have Capetillo explain why he would use plaster even during training.
These are things that Capetillo should be pressed about, but journalist today are'nt smart enough to ask the right questions that get to the bottom of matters.

I sure would like to hear Capetillo describe in his own words what was in those knucklepads.

Uh...doesn't saying rapists and murders go free and repeat offend pretty much disprove your point that everybody deserves a second chance?

I already knew Margarito was weight drained before he entered the ring. He looked like a ghost in there(against Mosley) That is why they used the wraps. I believe it was Capetillo's decision for the wraps, not Margarito's. The trainer knew it was wrong. He was just protecting his fighter from his inevitable fate. He knew Margarito had no chance against Mosley that nite. If u knew your son is gonna drown, wouldn't u do whatever it is to save him from drowning, even if it means risking your own life?

I hope Margarito annihilates Pac before then end of 9, to put all this to rest once and for all.

Margarito was made an example of. Plain and simple.

In no way was this mess the same or even close to the same **** Panama Lewis and Resto pulled but by the time it was finished being twisted around, it was worse.

why margarito didn't sue his trainer if margo had no clue at all?
destroying ur image, reputation and legacy for one night?

Capetillo: “I started panicking the week of the fight,I knew WE were in deep s__t, and WE couldn’t tell anyone. It was too late to pull out of the fight."

    WE?:?:?
