alright im stuck in cardio room during gym i have to rotate between bike, treadmill and eliptical should i do HIIT on these or just regular pace. im trying to burn fat and get better cardio for wrestling, boxing, mma etc.
Do a mix. Do two HIIT sessions a week.(I do 20 mins HIIT on rower one day, and 22 mins HIIT on treadmill on another.) Do one or two regular pace.(I do roadwork for 60 mins once a week)
Depends really... What I do for the 22 minute treadmill is 4 minute warm up on just slighter than average pace, then go one minute sprint, one minute jog and repeat that for the next 18 minutes. Same theory with anything else, what I switch up on in the rower/bike is again, 4 minute warm up, then 30 seconds all out, 1 minute medium pace, then 45 seconds all out, 1 minute medium, then 1 minute all out, 1 minute medium, then 75 seconds all out, then 1 minute medium, then 90 seconds all out, then 1 minute medium.Then repeat that again but in reverse if you get what I mean, it realy revs up your metabolism, shocking your system.
