Ok, let's say someone is in a street fight and trying to box. His opponent is hard to hit, because he keeps backing up away from the boxer. Now, seeing that there wouldn't be a ring to cut him off, how would you go about closing the distance? Btw, I'm not planning to fight someone, but this has always had me curious.
If all your opponent does is backpedal, after about 30 seconds it becomes clear he is afraid and you can basically declare yourself superior in the situation and walk away saying "you don't want to fight." You could edge him on and counter-he will probably be nervous seeing how ready you are in previously edging toward him aggressively-but it's probably best to just leave it be and say whatever, you don't want to engage and this isn't worth it. It's best not to attack unless someone is invading your space or saying outrageously disrespectful things.
Unless you're planning on street fighting this question is entriely irrelevant. Why the question would even come up makes no sense.
street fights are a total different ball game, you dont think about using boxing skills you just fly in there throwing every shot you can
Wowzers I didn't realise this was the eastside streetfighter forum- keep ur head down lads were amongst e-fighters now
In a street fight, it's very unlikely that someone would "get on their bike" and try to pot shot you. Even skilled boxers turn into Margarito.
Do a double backflip, scream like a mother****er, thorw your hands about everywhere, and the guy will run....like in the movies....really it works....don't waste your time training, this **** is for real.
