Basically were putting George against all of Mikes opponents and Mike against Georges. How does Mike do against people like Ali, Fraizer, ken norton, and Ron Lyle? Conversely how does Young George do against Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Spinks, Frank bruno, Trevos Berbick, and razor ruddock?
I'll assume that we're going prime for prime with each fighter. I favor Tyson to take everybody from Foreman's record apart from Ali. And I favor Foreman to win against everybody from Tyson's record apart from Lewis.
Tyson stops all but Ali. Ali vs Tyson goes to the cards. Lyle gets an A for effort, but he gets stopped in the same manner that Tyson stopped Berbick. Holyfield vs Young George? I can't decide. Vs Lennox Lewis, I favor Lewis by stoppage. Foreman would overpower Spinks eventually and KO him. Bruno may actually box well at first and sting Foreman. Bruno would actually be the bigger man in the ring. But he would manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and lose by stoppage. Berbick would be there to be hit and Foreman gets rid of him in 2 or 3 rounds. Ruddock vs Foreman would be a FOTY candidate. I see Foreman having to get up to win BUT, we saw against Tyson that Ruddock could go 12 rounds and he could take a punch. If Foreman doesn't stop Ruddock in the early to mid rounds, Foreman could get brutally knocked out late.
70 Foremans the undisputed HW GOAT if he fights in Tysons era. If Tyson fights in Georges era hes on the lower end of the top 10. He can avoid some people but theres a solid 6 fighters he has a very low chance of beating in Foreman, Ali, Frazier, Norton, Jimmy Young and Lyle. Theres really no getting around that for Tyson.
