The Fridge beat the reigning British Champion and then lost to an Irishman. If he got himself into shape does he have a future? It would be good for the game if a fighter like him targeted the Central Area belt.
What next for the fridge? A big dinner followed by a big dessert probably. He's poor to be honest no engine to go beyond 4 rounds. If he fights anyone half decent in a 6 rounder he'll get stopped
I thought he looked decent in prizefighter. Considering a lot of people were raving about Barret afterwards, Baker seemed to have his measure until he gassed badly. IMO if he lost 3 stone and got in shape he's got the skills to be a proper domestic contender.
I think the guy looks useful ...good technique and we know he can bang a bit ! .... he does need to turn 5 stone of fat into 5 stone of muscle mind you as he couldnt fight at domestic championship level as he is ... good lad though hope he can work on his game and push for a title of somekind ....
he looked ok,needs to lose weight,oh,and stop turning his head and shutting his eyes when punching, and being punched, not a good combination that
Dont doubt he could win an area belt but no way English or British title. As Williams said in his prime he would have destroyed him, and even that version of Williams would have won had the fight been 4 rounds let alone 10/12. Seems a nice guy tho and wish him all the best in making a few quid out of Willliams on his record.
If he could get himself in shape and get some victories against the likes of Butlin etc and once David Price is about 5-0 they could square off for the central area belt. Such a fight would be a shot in the arm for Area titles. On the same note Audley v Chisora for the Southern Area would be a decent title fight.
I don't think he threw one actual technically sound punch. If he worked on technique and conditioning then he can get a central area title. No more then that though imo.
Nandos and lots of it! Shame Danny Williams finished his career by disgracing himself against pop n fresh baker
