Agreed. Been following Frampton from the get-go when Barry was raving about him as a fledgling pro. Very clever fighter with an extremely high ring IQ. Although the first six rounds against Quigg were a bore-fest he totally bamboozled Scott with his range and footwork to the point Quigg simply couldn't let his hands go. People say Quigg should have started sooner but the point is, that wasn't his choice to make and he only got closer once he got desperate.

The LSC fight was a mini barn-burner and made up for the slight let down in terms of action vs Quigg. I'm glad his achievements got recognised as he also seems to be a decent chap as we say in the UK.

Worthy winner, Frampton Loma and Crawford were the correct 3 too (even if I may have edged it to Loma personally).

Congrats to the Jackal, and I look forward to the LSC rematch with anticipation!

Yeah that's fair enough and I'm sure there were a lot on here who voted for him,he's a clever lad and a great technician, when's the Santa Cruz rematch anyway?

Happy for Frampton. Took two 0's, won a second title at another weight, beat both guys on the road and is taking a rematch against a very dangerous fighter who gave him a tough fight no questions asked. What's more, he's doing it on the road again. Great year for Carl along with Loma and TC.

Frampton is a worthy winner IN THE SENSE THAT he wasn't the favourite to beat LSC the way Loma was the 8/1 favourite to beat Walters and Martinez. But I'm disgusted that people are ok with this - he ducked Rigondeaux this year to get his fake cereal box belts. I'm utterly ashamed, I don't care that Rigo is seen as a farce, he was still the top dog and had his belt stripped and handed to Frampton.

Ducking Rigondeux has somehow become the OK thing to do nowadays, just mention bad for business and go on your way.
At least Frampton did the next best thing though?

Yeah, he was asked about that in the year end Boxing News magazine. Off the top of my head, he mentioned there being little money in fighting Rigo, how he does feel sorry for Rigo but that he does himself no favours, how he feels Rigo gives a big FU to the boxing establishment by boring the pants off everyone against guys he feels Rigo could blast out if he wanted. He may also have mentioned that it could still possibly happen but can't be sure. It was a window shop read lol. Cheapskate.
Yeah, not too bad at the moment. Hopefully we get some great fights in 2017!

    I don't agree.

The man ducked Rigo like the plague, I've never seen another man duck like I've seen him and LSC do with Rigo.

It's like someone like Adrian Broner ducking Terrance Crawford and taking Indongo's 0 and belt, then moving up and doing the same vs Danny Garcia then calling him fighter of the year.
