Frampton is the A side ,as the yanks would say when it comes to the Quigg fight, once Hearns and Quigg realise this the fight will be very easy to make

Well I will be honest with you I've seen both in the gym and it's very hard to desperate them, I can't believe folk knock wee Quigg he simply doesn't get credit, by the way he is a world champ, yet wee Carl gets praise ( not his fault)yet in he beat a guy for the world title he's previously Ko'd

Agree Billy, to many people wrongly think Frampton is levels above, I think it's the best matched high profile fight in the UK, a real 50/50, but if I needed to pluck for one, I would go for Quigg because he is as good as Frampton and would have point to prove as an undeserved underdog. If they fought 10 x I think both would win at least 4 of them each, and I wouldnt rule out a draw if they ever meet

Quigg-Frampton really not as interesting now as it was, say 12 months ago, I don't think it is that competitive as people make out. Frampton finishes the fight as soon as he hits Quigg flush, Quigg can't hold a shot.

And sorry, but Quigg is not a world champion, what joke that belt is - Rigo is the world champion and Quigg is an interim, he got a gift draw against Salinas to become a 'world champ' and then he defended against a journeyman.

Frampton won a legitimate world title, no question about that.

Nope he definitely exists. Case solved. Now there is a rumour going around that Scott Quigg is a world champion. Anyone care to scotch that?

 

I agree Quigg doesn't get the respect due in some quarters, but world champ :nono Rigondeaux holds the real WBA title.

As for the thread topic, Frampton is a better all-round fighter. You surely cannot have seen his fights with Martinez if you believe him to be all style/no subtance. The super bantamweight world ratings are as follows:

1: El Chacal
2: The Jackal

In reality mate Martinez was a one dimensional bladder who yes can bang but Carl always had to much for him not once but twice, I'm sure Scott Quigg would do likewise
