Carl Frampton: "Josh Warrington is made for me"!

Let’s face it, Frampton is an elite fighter. I was made to swallow my words in regards to Selby - Warrington, fair play to Josh for that and he’s now world champion but he is NOT an elite fighter. He really will get took town by Frampton.

 

But will Carl be able to beat Leeds....Leeds United.....Leeds Rhinos.....Warrington is from Leeds you know.

 

before that fight everyone was saying that selby will school warrington easily and a lot were saying selby schools frampton as well, well warrington proved everyone wrong against selby, there's no reason why warrington can't repeat it against frampton, as frampton has looked poorer every fight since the LSC victory in July 2016

 

I’ve been made to eat my words by Warringtons performance the other day. Think I will take my time and assess it properly about how he would fare against Frampton who let’s not forget, isn’t quite the same animal he was a few years ago.

 

i don't think it would be that straightforward by any means. Frampton is on the slide, Warrington is on the up. I'd class Frampton as elite and Warrington as world class, but theres more context to it than just that

 

Sure, it was definitely a factor that tipped the scales in Warrington's favour, but im not a hater whos going to attribute the win to mainly the weight. Selby hasn't exactly set the world alight recently either, maybe Warrington is just better anyway

i think he looked better against LSC in the 1st fight imo. And against a tougher opponent, and his performances have been up and down since. He is by no means the same fighter, and thinking its not going to be a walk in the park for Frampton, which Frampton appears to be alluding to in that interview, is a fair assessment

 

Never mind phil, the question is do u actually follow boxing cos everything uv written in that post is bollox.

I mentioned to u in another thread that when the selby fight was announced joshs dad/trainer said hed of preferred frampton cos he saw him as an easier fight. Well if it turns out that carl is easier than lee was, then ur man is in for a difficult night.
Frampton will never be the same since lsc2.

 

Sometimes I think people forget that Carl actually holds a win over LSC.

Carl got it right in there first fight and LSC got it right in the second one. Both had issues with the fights they respectively lost.

At this point in time, Frampton should win.
