Respect between two top talents of our era.. Lomachenko recognition incoming big time lately! Would be a good fight this but Lomachenko would outclass him down the stretch IMO

If Loma stayed at 126 I still would have liked to see him against Frampton or Selby however they would have avoided him so it doesn't really matter.

I like Carl but Loma would have embarrassed him at 126.

Two top talents? Don't mention the coward of Belfast in the same sentence as Lomachenko.

Pity Frampton doesn't show Rigondeux a similar level of respect. Cubans get disrespected and mistreated worse than any other nationality, its sad. I know their styles are not universally loved and the fighters themselves sometimes don't make things easy on themselves but considering the talent that sits on the shelf, careers wasted, it is a shame. Loma/Rigo would have been such an interesting fight.

Frampton didn't want to get knocked out. We already know Rigs deatroys guys his own size. Frampton's short arse would be KO'd inside five rounds.

Not quite so sure on the KO but agree Rigo gives him a lesson. Shameful how the whole division just pretended he didn't exist and just all fought each other, there would be no shame in losing to a fighter of Rigondeux's pedigree and I'm sure sharing a ring with him could actually improve Frampton/Quigg etc as fighters.

Loma appears to be a special fighter and he is very enjoyable to watch. I don't think that he should be anointed the second coming after nine fights (including one loss) irrespective of who he has defeated. Yes, he's very good, but class shows over time and he has not shown the consistency or longevity in the pro ranks yet to be rated as highly as some rate him. Should he take another L or reach his ceiling somehow, people are going to have to rethink how they placed him up on a pedestal too soon.

He's achieved more in 8 fights than anybody in history, he's moved up the weights to take on new challenges even though he doesn't need to. The guy deserves all the credit he gets.

I want to be a Frampton fan but he has ducked Rigondeaux and the boxing world rewarded him for it, so screw it.
