The guy looks decent, hard as nails and throws well to the body. It'll keep Frampton high in the IBF and lets be honest who else could they have fought at this point they went down the IBF rankings and this guy was the only one that accepted the fight, so fair play to him. Quigg won't fight Frampton anytime soon, Romero has to fight his mandatory Mathebula and Terrazas is fighting Santa Cruz so it's a good stay busy fight were he can work on a few things then try and get a big fight in Belfast Sept/Oct.
These unknown fighters can be dangerous to prospects on a good run like Frampton is, they can drag you down to their level, I've been checking eagerly to see who Frank would put in front of Frampton, considering Frampton has been on such a great run too, Hirales is far from a mug and he got shutout practically, and stopping Martinez was a huge statement considering how up for the fight Martinez was... Well, if he has to learn the hard way, so be it
This fight may be a in a bit of trouble. According to boxrec Orozco got stopped in 2 rounds by Julian Aristule last night.
Where are those optimistic blokes hoping to pump Orozco up as some legit tough assignment to fluff up Frampton's record, now? :rofl The sorry ******* just lost his tuneup, KTFO in 2 by a guy with an extremely padded 22-4 mark having only ever beaten a literal handful (numerable on fingers and thumb) with positive W-L ratios. [yt]izSuADaIgIs[/yt] :-( Tragicomic, and can you imagine Frampton in there instead of Aristule? It's a scandal if the Jackal still winds up picking on the poor sap. Orozco and Aristule are hardly even top-grade Argentine domestics, certainly not world class import material.
Frampton beat a very game Martinez last time out, he should be fighters guys better than that or a tlast equal to it. Not bums (and i hate using that term) like this guy who got flattened last night.
At what level? Not against Baez or Aristule, to be certain - and we all do agree that Frampton is light years beyond their ilk, yes?
