Its the best fight in the domestic division after Quigg-Monroe. Obviously its unlikely it will happen because of the tv situation (C5 vs Sky) I think Galahad would bamboozle Frampton with his workrate & mobility, winning on points I think Frampton will struggle to plant his feet & get set against a moving target, I think the Kid has the range, the speed & the style to give Frampton a fustrating night at the office.
Frampton is by far the better fighter IMO. Far better technically, has a lot more power and could beat Galahad anyway he wants to.
I'm clearly in the minority then :conf Shame the fight will likely never happen but the Kid would box his ears off imo
Galahad is talented, could go quite far...But i just think he may have a fragile jaw, just have a feeling after seeing the Booth fight, he needs to work on his defense ASAP.
He got caught with a looping shot when off balance & just hopped back up. He wasnt the least bit hurt & went on to dominate the fight. I've seen him take bigger punches than that & just shake them off. Boxers always have excuses & Barry said he'd overtrained but that wasnt his best performance. I think he's pretty good defensively, especially with his feet. I think he has the style, the moves & the size to beat a short, stocky boxer-puncher like Frampton. In & out with attacks, lateral movement & a good work rate will be enough to beat the Jackal imo
I think Booth stunned him a few times, didn't hurt him though, the worrying thing was though, he was open for the same shot throughout the fight. It's great to have one of the lower weight classes stacked domestically with young prospects.
Buncey said on one of his shows last week that if you are live on tv on a Saturday night that it's no good having a twelve round learning fight. Both Frampton and Galahad need to realise this. So do their managers matchmakers and promoter. There Weren't one fan whether in the venue or on tv who saw Frampton last night and particularly wants to see him fight again. Yet his team celebrated as if he'd beaten Manny Pacquiao. It's supposed to be an entertainment business. Carl Froch entertained and will be rewarded for it in the future .
