Stapulionis is jabbing in and clapping his right hand down on the neck of O'Kane at mid-range. O'Kane is jabbing and whirling both arms in with sluggish windmills as he circles and jogs his guard up and down. BIG chopping right by Stapulionis as O'Kane is trying for a long body uppercut leaving himself wide open. O'Kane is wobbled. Stapulionis bashes him into the ropes, O'Kane slung over them and given a count. Stapulionis keeps the pressure on until the bell.

I've never been super high on EOK in the pro ranks (picked against him in the Fitz rematch) but this is a shock to me.

 

Round 2

Stapulionis is paddle-balling his jab past O'Kane's neck and slamming his right arm down, not caring so much about cleanly scoring points with knuckle contact but just keeping the physicality going. Lots of arms on the ear, shoulder and throat from Stapulionis. O'Kane is just flicking jabs to keep him off and swatting feebly with his right, trying to tie up. Stapulionis tackles him onto the ground slamming his right arm across the nape of his neck. "Illegal use of Vaseline" by Stapulionis' corner during a break in the action, point deducted. O'Kane is jumping around, legs splayed, unbalanced, jabbing and getting cracked with long rights from Stapulionis.
