    Not sure about you guys but if this happens i'd be more interested in this match-up then seeing the Froch vs Groves rematch.

    Frampton and Santa Cruz are two of the most exciting and talented young boxers in the sport today and to see them fight each other especially if takes place in Belfast, would be sensational.

    I like the Froch-Groves rematch but i LOVE the idea of Frampton vs Santa Cruz more.

    Your thoughts?

    Santa Cruz would finally end the Irish over-hyping of Frampton. Hope it happens.

    Do you actually believe that?

    I think Frampton is one of the new young boxers who actually deserves the hype they're getting.

    This is a better fight than Quigg vs Frampton, what a fight Santa Cruz vs Frampton will be. 50/50 fight imo.

    Mijares is a bit past it now so i doubt he'll have enough to stop the Cruz express, could give him some tough moments though.

    I expect both Cruz and Frampton to come through their bouts although Carl may well have the tougher opponent.

    It's a good bout but they need to get this sorted. In Belfast aswell it could be huge

    I have seen Cazares and he is strong and dangerous IMO.

    Haven't seen Mijares....he's been winning a lot recently, but LSc and Mijares do have the one common recent opponent Terrazas and LSC did do much better there, if that's any indicator?
    That said Terrazas looked beaten from the start against LSC.
    Maybe he was a lot more " up" for the mijares fight?

    Would be a good fight but I'm sure they will manage to duck the fight and invent some kind of eliminator for a final eliminator. Then they can pluck a couple more mediocre opponents to feed to the sell out crowds allowing Barry to continue to rub his hands together

    They offered Kiko 10 times the money as the 1st fight to fight Carl for the IBF title, he is now fighting to be mando for the WBC, he isn't Kell Brook his upcoming fight is his only eliminator, Frampton and LSC will happen if they both win, both want it and it would be either guys biggest win.

    Frampton a couple of inches shorter but if what I'm seeing is right then LSC would have a 7 inch reach advantage... is that correct?

    LSC is no mug and I can see him using every advantage he has and winning a comfortable decision.

    What about the "physical advantages" than Carl has over LSC?

    What does LSC weigh in the ring? High 120's? Carl fights at 131-133.

    Also I doubt LSCs arms are 7" longer - and thats the measurement that matters.

    Not in my book - 27 is "old" in terms of years if anything.
    But there is more to it than just the number of years. 27 years old fighters today are much "fresher" than 20-30 years ago. Far less fights, less wear and tear, less injuries, fewer miles on the clock.
    Frampton in particular is very very fresh - fewer than 20 fights I think, so he should have a few years at the top ahead of him, hopefully.
