This is boxing fans continue to get **** on by promoters, fans say they want to see the best fights but when a fighter they like is on some ***** ****, they defend it. Carl Frampton is scared of Rigonduex, it's really that simple. It's hardly surprising thought when Barry is his manager though, he ducked his fair share of fighters eg Azuma Nelson.

Yeah I agree but boxing is not like the UFC where you can lose and continue as you are, when he gets slapped about by Rigo he will lose a lot of money for future fights mate.

It is not a long career, I myself think he should box Rigo but I can understand why he doesn't want to.

Kell Brook and Carl Froch have also turned down fights in the past but have not got as much stick.

If he beats Rigo, he is top 5 p4p and his future earnings will be bigger. It all comes down to if he believes in his heart of hearts that he can beat rigo.

This is my problem regarding the no money in the Rigo fight regarding Frampton.

Ok if he moves up to 126 for a title fight fair enough but to say there is no money in the Rigo fight and then go on to talk about fighting Wake is total *******s.

    Let me get this right.....

Quigg and Hearn turned down the Rigo fight, as they were lining up a massive payday against Frampton.

This was considered a duck, and Eddie was a fraud ?

The Wee fella continually asks why Quigg never fought his mandatory ( Rigo ) and questions Eddies ability as a manager/promoter.

The Wee Fella says that Frampton is the next big thing at SBW, and that he'd beat Rigo.

Fast forward 12 months, the Wee fella swerves any questions with the name Rigo in, and gets a pass from Framptons fans for looking for money fights instead of facing the mandatory ?

Well said Dell, and bang on the money about the Wee Fella's yellowness rubbing off on his protege.

Trouble here is a section of the posters know nothing, and another section weren't even born when the Wee Fella was avoiding any question with the name Azumah in.

Me, i'm old enough to remember the Wee Fella being humbled by McDonnells left hand. :good

Wake's team did enough to secure financials with Hyde for Rigo TWICE so they must have some dough in the piggy bank

I too would like to see him fight Rigo, ive always been a huge fan of rigo....

I think Frampton has enough variety in his game to find a way of giving him problems, age and father time is bound to catch up on him, hes looked vulnerable in his last 2 fights

The main issue with Quigg not fighting Rigo was Rigo was the WBA champ, not like Scott Quigg made himself out to be... lets not forget that

And now Frampton is WBA champ and Rigo is his mandatory.
