I figured you weren't too fussed about Leo getting screwed. I'm off to the gym, I'll be back in time for the Charlo and Broner bouts.

Naw, mate. You make lots of unsubstantiated assertions. That's about it. You don't like Frampton and that's fine, but I wonder what you base your opinions on scoring on?

We have this PC rule in the UK where we have to have so many women/ethnics/disabled/obese people on every programme.....

Bunce covers 2 of those 4.

Sometimes when he's on one of his maniacal rants and his voice rockets up through the octaves, it seems he has the woman angle covered too...

I base them on watching and scoring the fights attentively and noting that the scorecards failed to accurately reflect the nature of a contest on two successive occasions, both times with a generous slant to the same fighter.

On the matter of "objectivity", the brief post that initially attracted your attention concerned a lack of that very quality in the official scoring of those bouts. In closing that post, I hinted that Frampton's clout as an attraction garnered him greater favor from the judges than he was due in pure sporting terms. Not an unreasonable conclusion, I might add. The continued success of a fighter who can bring 4,000 people 5,000 miles is going to be worth money to those handling him, not least someone like Al Haymon (who has profited rather handsomely from ticket resales for big fights, among the other boxing industry pies he has fingers in).

I didn't type my post with the intention of irking anyone, that's not my general MO. I might argue a point for the sake of conversation/debate, but I don't mind if someone feels or thinks differently about something.

Damn, Frampton did a fantastic job of beating Donaire, thought he could be him, but not that easily..............

With the way his wife was screaming at him in the corner I think he may prefer to be in the ring... :p

The fact that Narvaez survived Donaire and Tete really shows how good of a stoppage the Inoue fight was.

Donaire on his hot streak couldn't KO a shelled up Narvaez. Tete is much more of a laidback boxer than Inoue or Donaire,

He doesn't have that type of mentality. He's had a few fights where he could have put his foot on the gas, but was content to box to an easy decision

He actually hit Donaire flush a few times.

Clottey actually landed the best punches of that fight, the few times he let his hands go.
