Likely to face eachother in the next year, who do you think would win this fight, why and how? I personally think Frampton on points but I'm interested to hear other people's opinions
closer than people think. Both class acts. I'd sway 55-45 Frampton.. but it'd likely be in Manchester so it;s a genuine 50-50. Frampton has looked better thus far, has a better chin and would rightfully be the slight favourite, but I think Quigg has higher gears to show. Ladbrokes have the odds for this potential match spot on Frampton 4/7 Quigg 11/8
I too think its pretty close, slightly favour Frampton but I feel Quigg is pretty under-rated on here due to the paper of his belt and the negative conontations of being considered a paper champion.
Quigg is too straight forward and predictable and hit-able IMO. That said he IS a good deal bigger than Frampton physically, and he has shown very good prowess. So while Quigg can make a fight if it, likely Carl wins by stoppage in the last few rounds, with a battered Quigg being pulled out by corner, ref or doc.
Whose name you don't seem to know...and even if you did no-one else would recognise it, coz YET AGAIN Quigg is fighting a complete unknown. atsch
I can see it being a fight of the year contender it's been hyped that much. I just think the styles and pride of both of them would have this fight live up to the hype. That said I think Frampton is the better boxer, hits harder with both hands and seems very sturdy in the chin department. I pick him in a late stoppage. Quigg is no mug but he's learning nothing bowling these guys over. Frampton will have learnt more in his one title fight than Quigg has in all of his.
To be fair I'm not sure that's entirely true. Everyone seems to speak highly of Quigg on here. He is rarely criticised on a personal level, or regarding his boxing, any criticism tends to refer to his weak opposition. Let me be very clear- I have a high regard for Scott Quigg.
