McCloskey starting to tire, must have landed that left hook to the head then body 4 or 5 times that round.

    Round 7

Perez is getting through with left hooks to the body, bothering McCloskey as the Irishman slows. Perez is starting to come on strong, his speed deficit shortening as he keeps up the pressure. McCloskey is missing lots of high jabs while backing up.

    10-9 Perez

    68-65 McCloskey

Perez left it too late to start fighting. He needs to get a knock down.

    Round 8

McCloskey is landing that right jab again, and mixing it up on the inside but managing to get the best of the exchanges.

    10-9 McCloskey

    78-74 McCloskey

The accuracy has gone from McCloskey and he is dropping his work rate

88-83 McCloskey, putting in good body work with the right hook and leaning against Perez to stifle his offense.

Perez doesnt have the work rate and the powe. McCloskey has this in the bag unless he gasses. That said. I think McCloskey has reached the beginning of the end of his career.

    98-92 McCloskey.

Paul is tired but able to smother Perez and touch him more from mid-range.
