Exactly. Fought people away from home too. Even when at Commonwealth and British level he had tough fights, often against people like Brian Magee who was world level and ran him very close at the time.

 

Froch is easy to dislike but as a fighter he fought them all home and away without any excuses to avoid difficult fights.

Don't like the man as a person but a fooking warrior ducking nobody.

In boxing terms yes, but if someone measures success using wealth and fame as the metrics then no.

Just making a point btw, I don’t think Froch is “jealous”. They’ve had cryptic jibes at each other for years on social media and the whole McCracken thing has probably ignited it.

 

oh yeah I mean in boxing. But yeah Joshua wealth/fame wise is above almost everyone. But Froch is certainly well off money wise too.

Yeah Froch has a deep respect for Mccracken, he probably feels Joshua has disrespected him. I think that's the main reason.

 

Unless you are in Frochs head, how would you know? Decent chance he may be that as he came up hard in his career, with no tv backing etc and AJ had it handed to him on a plate winning vacant titles and also the undeserved gold medal.

 

Froch wants the Benjamins. What better way to cash in by getting air time and clicks for constantly slating a fellow Brit Boxer

From the unpaid ranks to the pros AJAY has eclipsed Carl. I couldn't name you Carl'a best win.
