Does anyone know why they split?

Froch's statement was very vague about the whole affair and it happened just before Froch's fight with Andre Ward.

Money? Hennesey not pulling his weight? Ego?

Carl told Mick (apparently), that his "penguin suits" were an eyesore.

Might just be a rumour though!

Money although I don't think there is too much bad blood between them now.

Mick massively held Carl back. Other than get him in the super 6 he was a total joke. His world title shot should have comes years earlier.

Had he been with fish eyes he def would and would have prob had the shot at Calzaghe he was so desperate for.

Money wise he held Froch up, legacy wise i disagree, he got Froch doing it the proper way, and got him a proper world title fight in his hometown live on ITV

Fair enough after Froch won the title he was poor (other than super 6 can't be knocked for that)

Hennessy is a curious promoter, he seems to have flashes of brilliance and then loses momentum straight after.

Not really, but Froch openly said he wasn't happy with his promoter screwing up a deal with Sauerland. He was supposed to get the Abraham fight in the UK but they stitched him up.

    This.

After Froch lost to Ward the Abraham fight was supposed to have been agreed previously to be in the UK. Only it turned out that Mick only had a 'gentleman's agreement' which wasn't worth ****.
