****in dick we know Dirrell won it alright, you seem like the crybaby he is.I`m sick of seeing these threads.I`m British and i saw 6 rds to Dirrell prob even 7 but Dirrell was a scared, winging, complaining Usain Bolt type that really does him no favours in this tournament. He`ll mature in his next few fights, although he might still be like Usain Bolt.

There will never be enough negativity from a boxer to counterbalance such overwhelming gap. Conversely, there will never be enough ring generalship to make up for missing that much. Numbers don't look right tho. Anyway who gives a **** now.

Gotta agree with you Boo and I think Ward Miranda was really close to this mockery.

This was made up or fabricated. I just watched the fight in good quality -- those figures are absolute lies. No ****ing way those numbers are accurate.

There have been some stupid things said in this thread but the bolded section stands out like a beacon of stupidity.

    Source for this?

    6% was it ****.

Dirrell didn't land at that high a percentage either.

How about a miles covered stat? :D

Done my own fight stats having sat watching each round on replay, just the basics mind

    Froch threw 373
    Froch landed 67(38 jabs)
    % landed 18%

    Dirrell threw 309
    Dirrell landed 86(35jabs)
    % landed 28%

After rewatching the entire fight, my scorecard and stats per round in brackets.

    Rnd 1 10-10 (23T 3L - 22T 5L)

Rnd 2 10-9 Froch. Despite a couple of nice hooks by Dirrell, Frochs workrate wins him the round. (F 29T-5L - D 17T-5L)

Rnd 3 10-9 Dirrell. Froch lands nice right hand, Dirrel lands nice counter and outlands during the right several straights to the body score. (F 21T-2L - D 20T-7L)

Rnd 4 10-9 Dirrell. Froch throws alot of wild punches and misses, Nice RH to the body. Dirrel lands the best punches of the round, straight right counter. ( F 30T-4L - D 25T-6L)

Rnd 5 10-9 Dirrell. Froch throws alot of jabs, but only connects with 4. Dirrell lands severall to the body and a big right hand. ( F 31T-4L - D 26T-7L)

Rnd6 10-9 Froch. Froch finally gets in close and lands a couple of hooks and straights in the round. Dirrell lands little. ( F 31T-6L - D 21T-3L)

Rnd7 10-9 Froch. Close round.Hardest one to count which punches connect. Froch manages to get away with throwing punches whilst holding. Lands several hooks.Dirrell lands a big left some straights and jabs. ( F 31T-10L - D 29T-8L)

    Rnd 8 10-10. Froch lands a big left whilst Dirrell lands a big right and a nice hook. Close round. ( F 28T-5L - D 22T-6L)

Rnd 9 10-9.Dirrell. Both guys stepped it up, Froch threw alot and connected with 6 jabs. Dirrell landed his jab aswell as a couple of straights and hooks to win the round. ( F 40T-7L - D 30T-10L)

Rnd 10. 9-9. Froch lands one eye catching jab.He likes to push down on opponents head with one hand whilst trying to throw uppercut.Dirrell lands some really nice lefts and wins the round. deducted 1 point for holding. ( F 32T-5L - D 33T-8L)

Rnd 11. 10-9 Dirrell. Action round. Both fighter throw there most amount of punches in the fight. Froch landsa couple to the body, an upper cut and hook. But Dirrell lands some big shots, and stuns Froch towards the end of the round. ( F 41T-8L - D 36T-12L)

Rnd 12. 10-9 Dirrell. Froch again lands his jab and several body shots and won the second part of the round. Dirrell landed early on and won ist half. Close round. ( F 36T-8L - D 28T-9L)

    My scorecard. 116-113 Dirrell.

Two drawn rounds the first round I can't see any reason to give to either, has to be a draw. Rnd 8 Is close, Froch throws a few more, Dirrell lands one extra and the cleaner punches. Round 12 is up for debate also. so if you score the 8th to Froch and the 12 to Froch then It would be a draw.

Froch threw alot of Jabs as he came forward that never seemed to have a chance of getting there, almost seemed like they were for the judges. If your coming forward and throwing jabs that are falling half a yard short you can't score him the round on aggression, he needs to be more effective, single punch, missing by alot aggression doesnt count. Dirrell never wasted a punch, he fought in bursts but was efficient.

Having watched it again there is no way you can call it a robbery. Alot of close rounds which could be difficuilt to score on the night, add in Frochs aggression(so they say), Dirrells holding(which didnt seem as bad the second time round, and not as bad as Frochs antics at times), the home crowd cheering everything even though most of what was being cheered was wild punches being missed, then its clear that all the close rounds went Frochs way instead of being called draws or the couple that I gave to Dirrell(12th for example)

ps trying to work out what connected and what didnt was difficuilt. Im not even sure they stats would even sound correct, but I gave it a shot never the less.

I agree, his face will thoroughly dominate the fists of the other fighters in the tourney.

Dirrell won who froch and his dumb brain thinks he landed the bigger shots and "rocked him all fight" i never know!!

i rewatched the fight AGAIN before posting i had dirrell winning by 1-2 points.

Frotch is a idiot with no plan b, running around the ring doing the same stuff he just hasn't got te boxing brain of calzaghe thats for sure he just cnt adapt. ALl he is is a slugger (a very good one) but against boxers with skills he gets found out
