No He needs to move up in weight class. Ward the only semi elite fighter for him is clearly miles out of his league.

It would be a good run, but I cant see that it would go anywhere near passing Calzaghe.
Pavlik was schooled by a fighter right after Calzaghe beat that fighter
Bute wasnt as good a win as Lacy, Mitchell or Eubank
And Froch lost to Kessler first time who Calzaghe beat when undefeated and prime, rather than the old inactive Kessler who has since been beaten again.

Remember Pavlik has done nothing at SMW and not looked impressive at the weight.
Still its a good run for Froch, but no, look above, it wouldnt come close to the overall resume of Calzaghe

Ward beat him so easily that to become an ATG he needs to beat Ward in a rematch.

really no point in going on with you if you are -

    1. still denying that Froch wont fight some of the four at (direct original quote from me 'at an age when Calzaghe regularly ran from young contenders and fought oldies only' (that is, age 36-37).

    2. denying that Frochs forthcoming opposition Pavlik, Kessler, Ward, Bute arent at least 10 years younger than Hopkins and/or RJJ. 10 years! Why are you bothering to argue back when the difference is so VAST?

If an age gap of 10 years, and a direct quote from my original post completely contradicting your misinterpretation of that post wont get you to own up to your mistake, then there is nothing more I can say to convince you. Just cannot understand how you can classify providing you with an original quote from the original post as ' backtracking' (WTF?- mental), but good luck with that theory lol, you funny guy.

If what u seen were to happen, then how about Pavlik vs. Bute now. Have a clause that makes what u seen winner vs. Pav/Bute winner.

Arum claimed Bute and Kessler were easier fights to make which is why I was expecting Froch.

Let the promoters and mangers figure it out. Wake me up when it's scheduled. jsimps floated Adonis Stevenson, I just don't see it scheduling wise. IBF would have to fsck Stevenson pretty hard to force another "eliminator" on him.

:patsch Herol being schooled by KO Artist now.

Not working out months but just looking at years difference

Calzaghes last 4 fights at SMW -
Calzaghe at 35 fighting M Kessler who was 28. Calzaghe 7 years older
Calzaghe at 34 fighting P Manfredo who was 26. Calzaghe 8 years older
Calzaghe at 34 fighting S Bika who was 27. Calzaghe 7 years older
Or at less than 3 weeks from 34 fighting J Lacy who was 28. Calzaghe 5 years older.
Total Calzaghe overall older by 27 years

Frochs last 4 fights at SMW -
Froch at 34 fighting L Bute who was 32. Froch 2 years older
Froch at 34 fighting A Ward who was 27. Froch 7 years older
Froch at 33 fighting G Johnson who was 42. Froch 9 years younger
Froch at 33 fighting A Abraham who was 30. Froch 2 years older
Total Froch overall older by 2 years

So H Gee going on about Calzaghe fighting oldies compared to Froch at a similar age, not forgetting that by this time Calzaghe had, had a far longer career and you can see that H Gee self pwned again

No Herol, there's 3 fighters there and Froch will face probably 2 of them while he's 35. You stated,

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=13382518&postcount=29

Now don't backtrack, that's a quote from your exact post.

Unless, you're stupid enough to think that Froch won't fight once in the next 12 months? And won't fight again until he's 36-37? At the age of 35, Calzaghe took on an undefeated prime Kessler.

Secondly, now ignore age as I've already schooled you on that subject, please tell me how moving up and fighting the number 1 fighter on the planet in the division above you is cherry picking?

EDIT: I now see that Bailey is schooling you on the same subject :rofl:patsch

You know, I was giving you respect in case you'd simply made a mistake.

Now I realise you are just being stubborn, and you probably knew all along you were wrongwhen you pretended that Froch will fight all these guys before he is 36.

So forget it, lets just see what happens. If Carl fights all 4 before hes 36, you win, If not you lose. Obviously everyone knows what will happen, but lets just see you admit it 12 months from now.

You really shouldnt be so offended when I suggest Froch should take a leaf out of Joes book and fight oldies when he is 36-37 - Ward is one he should avoid, not take on at that age. Whats so wrong with saying that? I am just telling you he should follow Joe's example. I am sorry if saying that makes you feel I am putting Joe Calzaghe in a bad light, but its Joe who did the deed, not me. You should look up to your hero, not make him look bad.

oh goodness. we are talking about who they fight when they are 36-37, NOT who they fight when they are just 35.

When we ARE arguing about who they fight at just 35, feel free to cut and paste your post into it. Thank you.

my, the way you write 'you selfpwned there' to everyone you try to argue with so stinks of desperation.
