Fighting Bernard Hopkins - Big Fight Big Risk - No title but massive name. But could get schooled a la Pavlik.

Fighting Mikkel Kessler - Big Fight Big Risk - Gets a title and another step closer to Calzaghe, but could lose.

Fighting Lucien Bute - Big Fight Lowest Risk? Gets a title, beats a respected fighter. Less likely to lose.

Make standard defenses - Smaller fight but less risk.

Bute is the easiest fight compare to Kessler and Hopkins but it's far from a sure win for Froch.

If Hopkins wants it he should have to come down to 168lbs.

Carl should fight guys like Bika, Andrade and build up his hard man image. The US are desperate for a new Arturo Gatti and Froch could be it. Bika and Andrada are well known in the states along with Allan Green.

At some point next year Pavlik will move up to 168lbs and thats a very winnable fight for Froch in my opinion. This would be HBO, and if Froch wins a war it moves him into the big leages. He can then get huge money for unifying against Kessler and Bute.

Anyone notice Froch say "unify the 3 belts" as he doesnt count the Warren Boxing Organisation

Carl should fight a few decent nkown names like Miranda, Bika and Andrade. I commend him if he takes on Hopkins because I really can not see him winning that fight and I doubt B-Hop will get shitted on if it goes the distance again.

Bute would be a nice little earner against a poor champion but I doubt Bute has the bottle to step out of his comfort zone.

I dont think Hopkins is a good idea. It took him ages to get his belt, im not sure Mick will want him to lose it so quickly.

Bute would be a good fight but he would have to travel again, i think that is his main aim. Abraham is also a good fight to keep an eye on.

You guys are comedians the way you talk about Bute as an easy fight.

I'm fairly sure that Froch will need to take another mandatory before he can attempt to unify. If Miranda can beat Ward next week, then I expect he will be given the mandatory slot. Miranda will be prepared to come to the UK for the fight. I believe that this is a winnable fight for Froch but very tough. It would make great viewing for the fans as I would predict a slugfest. However if Ward were to beat Miranda, I'm not convinced that Ward would want to fight Froch just yet.

Miranda-Froch would be a war while it lasted, in the end Froch would be much to durable for the Colombian but it would be worth the money to go and watch it live.

Bute ... I think Froch wins that one.

I like the idea of a Froch v Pavlik at SMW, that would be huge. Kessler would be a damn hard fight for him and I don't think he can win against Hopkins at this point.

I don't see any of these fights being low risk, Froch was far from convincing against Taylor. Granted he has a good beard, but Taylor on cue faded down the stretch. Pavlik or Bute would probably be the best options but not guarenteed wins by any stretch. If Froch wants to hold onto that belt, I would give Manfredo and Lockett a call.

Bute may be marginally the 'lowest risk' (in terms of seeing a possibility for Froch to win) but it ain't as big a fight as either Kessler or Hopkins especially.

Right now Miranda beating Ward and fighting Froch as his second mandatory is far and away the best risk/reward scenario for Froch IMO.

All fights will be tough fights, he comes across as a "nothing-to-lose" fighter, so he will go for only big fights. If he wins his next fight against any of them (especially B-Hop), he will get the praise he deserves, if he loses he'll come back and fight and make his way back up the ladder again, I'm sure of it!

Froch could fill Nottingham Arena against pretty much anyone now I think, but from an unselfish point of view I'm hoping he takes a risk and fights over in the US. Can't see them letting a British fighter take on some no mark, so either someone whose been on the Contender (names already out there) or a known name or a fellow titlist.

I'd like to see him v Kessler but probably more likely Andrade then a bigger fight v Hopkins or Pavlik perhaps.

If you say it enough it becomes folklore.

The reality is he won round 11 on 2 of the 3 scorecards and came out firing in round 12 and forget about Froch carrying his power til the end of every fight.

He got knocked down then stopped on shaky legs despite firing on all cylinders from the opener.

Froch went abroad and got the knockout win under hostile conditions and on enemy territory.

I cant see Bute coming to the UK and knocking Froch out on his soil.

    Absolutely no friggin chance.

But i can see the reverse definitely.
