It wasn't a fair contest George Groves was fighting 5 men in there and everyone knows there was only meant to be one winner in this fight in that was Carl Froch because he was Sky's golden egg and if you want proof of this just look at the Officials performances.
So No the fans are not going to let this get swept under the carpet. Nice try though :yep

    :huh

Did Ovil Mckenzies TKO over Enzo provide 'closure'? No... The rematch did tho. In a world of joke British stoppages, your comment makes no sense

Its funny how the pro-Froch brigade have been growing in voice the further away from the fight we've gone. I agree an argument can be made for both Froch and Groves being robbed by the decision. But no way can you say in hindsight say that was a justified stoppage.

Froch was IMO in big trouble and was fouling like mad which wasn't being punished. Up until the 9th point it was Groves winning but 2 rounds.

And the scorecards were massively out of sync with what the viewing public saw - as well as the writers ringside who averaged a bigger margin than what was on 2 of the scorecards

And lest we forget the CHEERS when Froch HIMSELF said after that there could be a rematch - and now he says the ref did him a favour? He's only hurting himself, he'll continue to say he's a warrior and a fans favourite but doesn't respect us enough to give us a rematch?

Froch may as well retire. He'll get his arse handed to him by Ward. I'm not going to make the mistake of staying up for that fight again.

Good post :good Yeah i have noticed the Froch Brigade have come out in force all of a sudden when you never heard them during or after the fight. My suspicions are its Froch himself, Hearn trying to protect his dodgy name and obviously corrupt shows or it's Carls two useless poncing brothers doing something for their pocket money. Heck i bet his Mother is got in the act and opened an account on here as well  The point i'm making is no real boxing fan would defend this B.S stoppage or the tell him to duck the rematch with Groves.

Howard Foster clearly got a brown envelope from Hearn as his refereeing decisions favored Froch throughout the fight. Same with the Judges as they must have given Froch a three round start when you seen their scorecards at the end.

As for the Crowd cheers. Froch's ability to the read the crowd and media is second to none at ringside Froch was agreeing with the refs decision and as soon as he heard the boos decided to talk of a rematch to turn the crowds opinion. Now post fight Froch is talking about every other fighter apart from Groves as his next opponent :-(

Froch talks about legacy, but his true colors are beginning to shine through now, but he has two honourable options fight Groves or retire :deal

As for you Froch fanboys get it right f*cking up ye :finger5

I agree, have said all along Groves would have been ko'd if it carried on. Froch is as hard as they come, not many could take what he took and give it back. Groves did however give a great performance in an excellent fight, he does deserve a rematch but then again it is Froch's decision. He may only have two fights left in his career, he has earned the right to box who he pleases. After all the top challenges he has been in over the last 5 or 6 years its hard to argue against him. A rematch would be great though!

No one cares if you stay up to watch it, I certainly will if it happens ! personally i hope it can be made in UK , but its no likely due to Wards unwillingness to fight overseas

Well i'm sorry we are boring you, but unlike you we don't like to see a 25 year old kid get his dreams and 15 years of hard work ripped away from them in a instant by something ugly as political corupption.

You said it yourself George Groves was robbed, but your happy and willing to accept it and just move on :-( It's doormats like you why corrupt politicians have been getting away with it for years. Why don't you stand up and be a man :deal
