Carl Froch calls reporter a Andre Ward *** licker says he is boring

After all these years... Froch should still be able to recognise what ward does and give him his props. Regardless of whether you like him or his style.

 

I think you will find out that you are wrong. The Networks you refer to such as HBO have paid big money for his fights and he is a multimillionaire. He was paid a fortune for the Kovalev fights, Super 6 tournament etc. He will be paid big to defeat Bellew in the UK at cruiserweight in what will likely be a stadium fight. There is a reason he is generally recognized as P4P the number 1 right now and it's based on deeds in the ring. As for his hometown he is big and he also sold out on the road in Las Vegas.

 

I don't think Froch is bitter because he lost to him, he lost every round apart from the 12th and I've never heard him have any complaints about that fight.

I think he is right to an extent, the only Ward fight I've re-watched was the first Kovalev fight, and that was only to work out who won. I think I watched it 4 times actually. Very close fight.

And the TV numbers don't lie.

 

Not little at all. By the way this is not personal and I am not getting at you. However I must say Ward kicked Kovalev's backside and made the bully quit!

Ward is so dull you guys! Its just so boring when he walks down my favorite fighters and beats the **** out of them

 

It rubs off as a little bitter but I have to say I agree with him. A lot of Ward's fans will play the "purist" card and criticise his detractors as casual fans who only appreciate sluggers and knockouts but they can lick an arse for all I care. I can definitely appreciate skill, Mayweather boxing off the back foot while displaying cat like reflexes and superb counter punches is an example, Ward hugging and headbutting his way to victory is not.

Not even close. Just off the top of my head Joshua/Klitschko, Jacobs/Golovkin, Gonzalez/Sor, Spence/Brook, Thurman/Garcia and Vargas/Berchelt all far more entertaining.

 

Ward vs Kovalev was very exciting so much so that I keep watching it!

 

Ward could have had four working hands and had a clean shot on Frochs chin and would not have stopped him!!

Ward would outbox Froch everyday of the week 100% but he would never stop him.

 

I kind of agree and disagree, I like Ward and appreciate his style but the reality is a lot of his US fans are ass lickers and cheer leaders. When Floyd and Andre had their beef back in 2013, these same guys who love Ward now chose to side with Floyd saying Ward isn't a draw and not on Floyds level. Too much cheerleading.
