The other funny thing for me watching that video is a slightly bad tempered Carl Froch is talking to that 'journalist' in a similar way to how I find myself talking to the average man in the street who clearly DKSAB.

 

The point is that Ward agreed and did fight the feared Krusher Kovalev twice and proved he was superior. I don't see Kovalev begging for a rematch. Perhaps the referee Should have allowed Ward to keep teeing off on Kovalev then the detractors would have been satisfied. I mean really! Kovalev had the fight beat out of him by the better man. If Jay Z and HBO pay him perhaps there is a reason why! Ward has faced a murderer's row level of competition in his career and prevailed. Class act in the ring and outside of the ring an even better man. Froch should observe and learn as it would make him a better person.

 

As Marlon Starling once said in boxing after every defeat there is an injury.

The comments are not anti-Froch at all. Andre Ward and I as well as others like Froch however his little bitchy comments show him to be a small man. However why am I not surprised Froch is not known for giving credit to others. Ask Calzaghe and George Groves.

Froch has always been a small man. He lost to Ward, Dirrell AND PRIME version of Kessler.
He was a very good fighter, but overrated and will only get into HOF because the standards are so pathetically low.
