Calzaghe needs to stay retired. He's finished, he's done what he's done, the 31-year-old was quoted as saying by The Sun. He's eating plenty of food now, he's drinking and he's enjoying his life and so he should because he's had a fantastic career. "But the reason I called him out at the end of the Taylor fight was because he said I wasn't good enough to fight him and I'm not proven at world level. "I gave him my answer by beating Taylor and he who laughs last, laughs longest. "I've had the last laugh now with Calzaghe. I've won that fight in style and he's got nothing bad to say about me. He's retired so I'll leave him alone." All that said, Froch finished by saying: "If he does want to come out of retirement - and he was talking about it - the only justifiable fight for him is me. "We'll see what happens. Bigger names than Calzaghe have come out of retirement so he might just fancy the job." He just can't help himself...Therapy!! :tired
i heard the back end of an interview on radio 2 on way home from work yesterday he said similar thing, only that joe wont come out coz he'll get "knocked sparco and then his old man too" he's even calling out enzo now :rofl
Carl Froch has revealed how the ulcerated cornea he was suffering with nearly postponed his fight with American Jermain Taylor. "I got an ulcer on my eye and it was infected," he said. "I had to go to hospital and saw a specialist three times before the commissioner would ok the fight. But it is sorted now."
