Good one Rummy. Carl the Cobra Froch has a very solid and respectable record in the Super Middleweight division. Certainly there have been more skillful fighters but you cannot doubt his innate toughness. Tactically I felt he could be defensively irresponsible but you can’t quibble to much on his resume. I do wish he would shut up about a few things such as Joe Calzaghe, Andre Ward and knocking out George Groves at Wembley Stadium in front of 80,000 people as it’s embarrassing.
A good boxer who maximised his potential, I feel, with many thanks to his chin. He was also in several entertaining bouts, but unfortunately he was one of the most pompous, condescending and smarmy boxers.
What a career. It was a wild ride following Carl. Granite chinned warrior. I can watch so many of his fights again & again.. he did it all the hard way too, if anyone earned his stripes it was Froch. Great resume & deserves to be in the HOF in the future.
