    Fighters like Haye and Froch will always have a soft spot for a fighter like Diaconu; they'll identify with him to a certain extent. Miranda and Torres probably like Diaconu too.

    Diaconu will very likely lose to Johnson. Even if he does, as long as he performs well and makes it an exciting fight, everyone will be happy.

    Agreed on everything.He just needs a good performance to get in the mix.But a win would shock the world.You think Don King will get involved in a Diaconu vs Johnson fight?:think

    I'm sure Chad will be KO'd at some point as he does have a little bit of a SHAKY chin, not a GLASS chin.

    Dawson agreed to fight Diaconu, the Shark swam away with his injury and Chad moved on to bigger and more important matters.

    Dawson is pfp a top 20 guy, Diaconu is not even on the radar.

    Agreed on what you said there,bigger and better don't mean bigger challenges or bigger money after all.How can Diaconu be on the radar?His style and resume don't make him to be able to be there

    He is good,nobody can doubt that.Depends how good.After Branco,Glen Johnson will most likely will take the fight and we will see how good indeed

    That is Froch's mentality.

    He wants to be the "next in line" for Calzaghe.

    He knows, however, that Dawson is the "next in line". So he cries about it to the press, saying Dawson needs to fight someone else, etc.

    Moreover, Froch is not even next in line behind Dawson. He is probably 8th or 9th in line, in fact. :rofl

    Showime does not give out long term contracts anymore, not for the last 2-3 years.

    If the Dawson fight doesn't happen, it's because Joe Calzaghe doesn't want it to happen, period.

    I'm sure he will. He'll definitely promote the winner's next fight, especially if it's Diaconu.

    Yeah,keep telling yourself that.There is no way Calzaghhe will face this young lion at this stage now.Dawson doesn't bring anything to the table.

    Bringing the fight in the US and on american tv of course.Would be good.Nice exposure,great opponent.,good payday,bad style for Diaconu,45% chance of winning..like them odds:yep .This will go Showtime for sure.
