Carl Froch:''Dawson should face Diaconu''

He's a limited puncher in that he leaves himself open numerous times, he doesn't move in angles and has slow feet. Dawson could just slip a left hook and counter with a right hook and Diaconu is done.

And Diaconu is not as talented or skilled as Dawson. Diaconu is a B level figher, and that's about it, nothing really special.

 

I can't think of a single fighter that diaconu has fought thats not only world class but non-mediocre, you can't jump from an unknown like Rico Hoye and jump to fighting the best fighter at 175, like wlad said about haye in his funny accent "you have to prove yourself"

 

When a boxer tells another boxer to stop ducking SOMEONE ELSE, there's usually a lot of truth to it. Dawson should fight him, because Adrian does have the tools to beat him. A real champ would face a real threat rather than the senior citizens tour at Light Heavy.

 

adrian needs to fight atleast a top contender before taking on the man at 175, he needs to fight somebody like glen johnson and beat him to have the right to fight chad dawson

 

Dawson is busy with a Tarver rematch at the moment. I hope he gets the KO and retire his ass for good.

 

I dont understand why Froch has to run his mouth about everyone and everything. He is not even fighting at that weight category. The guy hasnt fought anyone of note and has no right to tell Dawson who has a far superior record to him who he should and should not be fighting.

Dawson like Glenn didn't really dominate any part of the fight...each man had their spots but it was perceived by most that Glenn "overall" got the better of the young Dawson due to the fact that Glenn actually HURT Chad. Chad did show very soild boxing skills and the speed was his best asset....Glenn just had a very soild game plan to combat the fast hands of Chad which made it a very close fight.

When Glenn began landing more and hurting Chad I began to see Chad wilt a bit...he began using A LOT more foot work and looked to score, not KO Glenn. I guess we could say he adapted but I could see in his eyes and through his body language that he was a bit discouraged...that was his first taste of being in a TOUGH fight and it left me with some questions.

I'd like to see that fight with Chad and Cunningham as well. I like Chad to win with his speed, skills and explosivness. But of course Chad will have to watch for the Power of Cunningham.

 

Diaconu would lose, as would Froch...

 

How about Froch going after Dawson himself?
Dawson would tear him up.
