Well if you're so certain about that then why even have the fight?
If it's so obvious people would make a ton of money on the fight, wouldn't they?

    You're a dick:deal

Is it really Decebal? Do yourself a favor then and **** off:good The fact that so many people buy into Dawsons bull**** hype is a testament to how feebile minded some boxing fans are, yourself included. Many feel Johnson beat him. Dawson just put on a clinic against Tarver, a fighter that was never above a B in his prime....And that means hes just the **** at LHW? Get the **** outta here with that garbage

I made that comment as an ESB buddy, not to be mean or attack you. That is why I added ":good " at the end. One thing is to think Diaconu has a decent chance, or even that he should be considered favourite, and another thing is to think there is no way Dawson could beat Diaconu. One thing is to fight in Diaconu's corner against posters who are ignorant or simply haters and another thing is to go overboard and sound like an ignorant hater the other way yourself.

Don't try so hard. It's not helping.

    :good

I just get so goddamn tired of these threads.......Most people that hate Diaconu on here have NEVER seen him fight....In all honesty its a 50/50 fight in my opinion. Of course Dawson has a chance to win, he's incredibly gifted. Dawson also has flaws, flaws that I feel Adrian Diaconu would take full advantage of exploiting.....Often times merely out of frustration I will greatly understate Dawson because I do infact hate him. I honestly never wanted to see another fighter KTFO so bad in my life. The only thing that makes me sad is that after the brutal KO I won't see Dawson **** or pissed on, that would seal it:good Admitedly this is the one topic I show a hint of bias.....other than this very one topic I'm a pretty good poster.....

Mr. Magic, I'm greatly saddened by your insult:( Despite my overzealous statement, I've thoroughly enjoyed our discussions on a great many topics in the past and am sure that we will have many more in the future... I'm actually not a dick. Again I'm greatly saddened that I've been classed as such by a poster as reputable as yourself

    Can't argue there!

I would like to see Dicaconu agaisnt Johnson to see how is performance would compare to what Dawson did! If he were able to beat him (no sure thing!) and do it in convincing fashion(even less of a sure thing!), then it might spark interest in the media for a unification fight with Dawson!

    We will see!

Well let's hope so! But if your god is like the Alphabet soup of sanctioning bodies then I doubt we will get our prayers answered!

he was only hurt in the tenth. i didnt say say chad dominated him just think he will in rematch for one dawson knows what must be done. where glen will fight his way always. i just cant truely see where he thought he won especially using the crowd. chad was already in unwanted territory. tarver back yard.glen fought great no lie but its no shame losing to chad putting up the fight he did at his age and i thought it was a well taught lesson for dawson even with him winning. he was put to a real test and his body was put to a test and he held up. i think its all in learning when and when not to engage. and not only hes a fan pleaser. i think eddie his trainer is working on that. i loved the advice he was giving in tarver fight. dawson need that bug in his ear.i agree he does get careless. but ima stick with him

Duckin' Dawson has already twice backed down from fighting Diaconu-I think that tells us all we need to know.

Maybe Duckin' Dawson just likes older men, out of his last four fights two have been 39 years old and one has retired. Huh...

you may be right although I do believe Hopkins even at 44 is the superior fighter to Joe Calzaghe, Dawson is the man in the sense that he has the most titles he's going after unifying the division, calzaghe and b-hop are looking for big fights and just happen to weigh in at 175. Calzaghe is retiring same with b-hop thus being the reason Dawson is the man at the division because he holds 2 of the titles and looking to get the rest its just they dont want to fight him because he's not a big enough attraction just yet. One more huge name on his legacy like a tarver or johnson and he should be up to about where pavlik was in popularity before b-hop executed him

actually dawson already signed to fight diaconou before and was gonna fight him till diaconou got injured and pulled out, I think that clearly shows he is not 'afraid' of him that word is way too loosely used these days
