If froch fought wards opposition all in nothingham he would still be undefeated, froch will end up with a very good resume once he retires.

3-2 with one gift decision. So in reality 2-3

    Yeah Froch is awesome.

I think Sakio Bika would give Froch hell.

The Kessler that entered the ring against Ward was not the same fighter that left the ring.

Actually most people here on ESB think he has the best resume in the SMW division.. I surely rate him n1.

But I think Ward will dethrone him soon. That's a stylistic mismatch, unfortunately for Carl.

I agree with you - Bika would give Carl the toughest fight of his career, possibly worse than the Kessler loss.

Hope he beats Ward, but doubt he will be able too. Ward is just too slick for him.
Gonna be a great fight though.

Froch gets more than enough credit here, often too much from some people. You'd think he'd torched Kessler and Dirrell and beaten some monster in Abraham with the way people treat him.

Carl Froch is a old school warrior who is great for boxing a true credit to the sport. If boxing had more people like Froch it would be in much better shape today. Also Froch's boxing skills are underrated I have him in my top 10 P4P.

Ward is meant for big things so to begin with I agree with you. But if Ward fulfils his potential Froch won't be judged too harshly for losing to the guy. Even the doubters won't have a case, no shame losing in your prime to great fighters.

Not as much as you think. Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham, Kessler they all say it before they fight Froch, he is basic, no defence, will be an easy nights work and so on. Ward will find Froch far more difficult when he gets in with him than he does from the outside looking in.

    100%.

Froch has faced a gauntlet of competition, hasn't taken a fight off. No gimmes or easy fights in years. Wish they were all like him.

It's very possible Ward beats him, but in my book, that doesn't take away from him AT ALL. When top fighters meet up, someone has to lose. It's what we want to see. I'm rather give a credit fro taking on the challenge than take credit away for suffering a loss at the hands of a worthy, and on that particular night superior, opponent.
