Carl Froch - Deserves more credit.

All that stuff and the crying part is a plus for me, goes to show he actually takes everything seriously. Especially that being his first loss, its rare to see boxers like that nowaday. Would rather have those kind of mentality than all about the money or just going there to get paid type of fighters. Carl froch is a fighter who strikes me as someone who likes to challenge himself, one look at his resume and you'll know this guy fights everybody. Oh and he doesn't call out fighters from the lower weights unlike most money grabbing fighters do

 

Froch has fought 1 time at home in this tournament in which he didn't cry over spill milk and didn't fake an injury like Dirrell did in which Froch could have done that and leave the tournament all together but yet he and Ward are the 2 originals to fight in the finals. But Froch has more b4lls to fight mostly on the road while Ward gets to fight all at home.

 

Froch gets the credit because he is white and takes a good punch.
His opp is overhyped. Edison Miranda faced better than him.
People have him in the P4P list which is absurd. He has no power, takes way too many punches and his not outclassed any good boxers with high ring IQ's.

After he faces Ward and Bute you can say he fought everybody but as of this second he only faced 1 (Kessler) of the top 3 168lb fighters and is 0-1 vs them.

If you look at the best he faced @ 168 it is Kessler and Dirrell. Many believe he got a hometown gift vs Andre. He is 1-1 vs the top opposition he faced and could as easily be 0-2.

AA- not a Super Middle, Taylor - shot (still lost more rounds than he won) Glen Johnson (old and entirely shot and could not show any defense or land hardest + best shots of the fight) Pascal - is a decent fighter with a very low ring IQ.

Froch needs to beat Ward because till now he has not beaten good young boxers in his class @ 168. Losing to Ward would make him 1-2 vs the best 3 he faced.

Interesting how much everything would change he beat Ward. This would put him in the P4P list and set up a fight vs Bute.

 

Real boxing fans give Froch credit, part time fans don't. Any man who is clearly a world class fighter, is a warrior and will fight anybody, anywhere deserves credit.
