This is why I initially hated Froch. Dirrell outboxed him very bad and Froch had to pull dirty **** all night to keep up, and then in the post fight interview he act as though the decision he got... like there was nothing even the least bit suspect about it.
Froch is obviously physically stronger, Dirrells speed and overall athletecism however, would bother Froch every day of the week.
I agree with both of these posts. I don't believe that any neutrals had Froch winning - the only people that did were people rooting for Froch from the start. They can't see how an emotional attachment to their fighter is causing them to try and twist logic to fit in with a desirable result - they genuinely believe they are using nothing but logic to determine the result. If it was the other way round, i.e. Froch did what Dirrell did in the fight and vice-versa, these Froch fans would not have been saying that "Froch didn't do enough". They would be saying, "come on, he landed practically all of the clean, hard blows in the fight - and that's the name of the game". Did someone in this thread say they didn't give Dirrell any early rounds? I can't remember the fight round-by-round, but I remember Dirrell sweeping most of the early rounds.
I could only give Froch two rounds clear. I give him 3 rounds and i am being generous. Froch got no shame i swear. I like to watch the guy but when he opens his mouth is bunch of rambling garbage.
Dirrell beat his ass...I've watched the fight 3 times (sober once, and drunk twice), and Dirrell always wins it...I even watched it with the intent of giving the fight to Froch but he just did not win it....people need to learn to score fights objectively.
Everyone who somehow scores it for Frochy always claim that Dirrell fought scared holding and running but always fail to explain how did Froch win it without landing S**t. I don't care how many times dirrell held or ran the guy outboxed, outlanded froch.
Dirrell clearly outperformed Froch. I had Dirrell winning 8-4. Froch didn't land worth a shyt in the fight and used illegal tactics in the fight. Dirrell was superior and would beat him again.
I'm not one to portray the disgrace that Andre Dirrell is in a positive light, but he boxed Carla Crotch silly.Regardless of the so-called "negative" tactics,Dirrell was the only boxer of the two who was ever landing anything worth a damn.Froch was as slow as a slug and his accuracy was truly awful. Classic case of a hometown decision. The ref,the judges - they all played their part. The fact that Dirrell was deducted a point for holding while Crotch wasn't deducted any for his rabbit punches prove the corruption of that particular night. And by the way,Dirrell did rock Froch in that fight.Dirrell nailed him with a left hand and had him on ***** street. It was in the tenth or eleventh round.
I love Dirrell's offense. Spear thrusting jabs and str8s and A lot of snap to his punches. He did hurt Froch in the 10th. Froch is SO full of s**t sometimes.
pitty pat style you aint hitting me strategy yea he won but nothing on his punches anyone can run the whole fight and no risk pitty pat
