You are such a nuthugger. Froch threw him on the ground because he kept holding and being a *****. Anybody would of done that in anger. Dirrel went to somebody elses backyard and ran, he could of stood there and boxed, but he RAN... okay, he RAN! RAN! RAN! If you think its fair that a fighter should run away in a fight in somebody elses hometown and then STILL win a title with a ***** performance then you are just an idiot. It was a close fight and Carl Froch's constant pressure and aggression won him the fight. It is as simple as that.
If you watch it again, maybe you'll have it even. Watch it a dozen times and Froch KOs Ray Robinson. Just playing. Lots of close rounds in that fight IMO. I tended to give them to the aggressor.
no matter what anyone says, this fight and the opinions on it amaze me. ive seen it a few times. with audio/with no audio and i dont even think its close. and im not a fan of either fighter to be clear. dirrell beat him easily
Dirrell showed the first signs of how spineless he is in that fight, then disgraced himself further against AA. Nice guy, just not hard enough to make a living in the ring
He was supposed to wait for the referee to do his job. That judo throw should have gotten him disqualified. I hope you're stop trash enough to back what he did.
Froch beat Dirrell. Froch outlanded Dirrell. Even The Ring magazine and Boxing News saw Froch a winner. Still it is known that American SMWs cant travel in big SMW fights and compete in Europe, just look at a few examples, Dirrell, Lacy, Taylor, Mitchell, G Johnson (fights out of America), Andrade, (fights out of America), McClellan, Sheika etc
Disqualified? nah. He got a stearn warning for it. Its sort of like a low blow when you hold the opponents head down. What Dirrell was doing was illegal. I have no idea what the second sentence means.
Froch was fighting in his home town and was the champion. Rightly or wrongly Dirrell was never gonna get the win fighting off the back foot and pot shotting every now and then, even though I had him up by a couple of rounds. Froch was the one constantly trying to force the action and I think the judges looked on that favourably. Dirrell came to life in the last few rounds though and would have won had he fought that way for the full 12. I'd watch it again and score it if it wasn't such a ****in boring fight.
