I always liked his style but wasn't convinced that he was Elite.... I really REALLY like his style, it's a bit crude.. but I love guys who can punch who have great chins and great determination... It's hard to envision fights where Froch doesn't give the fans a great show.:good

I am looking forward to his next fight, and wouldn't mind seeing a rematch with Taylor, that was an awesome fight.

I think Froch was awful last night and Taylor would have won if he didnt gas.

Froch did well and showed heart to come back from being dropped, but his power is overated, his speed is overated, his chin is good and his defence is goddamn awful.

I thought British fans would be all over him? I don't understand why so many dislike him, is it because he trash talks Calzaghe?

This part of him gets on my tits, but apart from that i dont think he is as good as people say.

I was cheering for him last night after the Yanks started chanting USA but i must admit i was on my feet cheering when Taylor put him on his arse.:D

But his constant deriding of Calzaghe bugs me because i think he truly believes Calzaghe avoided him:-(

Some fans would literally **** on Ali if the Greatest dared to say something negative about Calzaghe. :-(

Then why doesn't the great Calzaghe just come out of retirement and fight Froch? it would be a huge fight, and Calzaghe could end his career on a good note, not a sour one....

It's because all we hear over here is commentators with their heads rammed up his ass, and constant treatment of him as if he's the second coming of Sugar Ray. Plus, he called out Calslappy repeatedly with absolutely no mandate. He's just a total ****ing gobshite, and a terribly unrefined boxer.

Personally, I'm looking forward to Froch saying 'Taylor' every other word for the rest of his life.

    That'll be fun.

To be honest I don't like any of the British Eurobums (I prefer US hypejobs like Pavlik :banana), and I always thought Calslappy was over-rated; but, let's be honest, there's a massive gulf in class between the likes of JC and and the likes of that Carl the Chump Froch. Calslappy speaks the truth:

Unfortunately from what i have heard he from the post fight interviews he is still as obssessed as ever with Calz!

You can't blame him for trying to goad joe into a fight, thats the biggest money fight froch could get in or around his weight-class but he needs to let it go now.

To the thread starter, i think most uk guys are behind froch, the guys on this thread would be the exception rather than the rule. I don't think anyone is under any illusions, he is crude and slow but he has heart so will always be supported by the brits!

And personally i quite like his interviews and comments, when he is not talking bout calzaghe, he is quicker and wittier than say hatton!

    Why would he need to?

It would be like Chagaev calling out Lewis.

You have one fighter who has proved himself against a guy who has barely scratched the surface.

And how did Calzaghe end on a sour note? He went out when he wanted to unl;ike many boxers.

What has Froch proved? He went life and death with a top 20 fighter in Pascal and he barely beat Taylor last night and he only won because Taylor gassed.

    Exactly.

I like the guy but i cant stand the constant Calzaghe talk, he needs to let go.
